***WHAT IF WORSHIP ISN'T FOR GOD...BUT FOR US ?***

Tomorrow we’re asking a question a lot of people have quietly wondered:

Why worship?

I mean… if God is already complete, fully sufficient, and doesn’t need anything… then why does he ask for worship? Is it to stroke some divine ego?

What if worship isn’t actually for God… but for us?

What if worship is less about feeding God’s need for attention and more about awakening us to reality?

Because whatever we behold, we become.

Worship re-centers us.
Reorients us.
Reminds us who God really is… and who we really are in Him.

God doesn’t need worship.
But we need to encounter the goodness, beauty, love, and presence of God.

And when we do… it changes us.

Tomorrow we’re talking about why worship matters—and why it may be one of the most life-giving things a human being can experience.

We are building a neighborhood church. One that is accessible, available & ready to serve the people where the church is located, which is “Emersonia”.

Today, as we shared communion, we placed signs on all available empty seats (we have a lot b/c we’re growing!) During communion we said a prayer of blessing for the residents of Emersonia. Financial, physical & relational BLESSINGS.

With the help of a neighborhood team (which is made up of residents of Emersonia) our church will host its first neighborhood event on June 20! There’ll be food trucks, lawn games & a concert on the lawn!

This is how we’ll become a neighborhood church!
