CrossLink Women

CrossLink Women CrossLink Women’s ministry is a culture of women nurturing other women, as well as all people in and out of CrossLink.

Growing a culture where women and future generations can grow in their relationship with Jesus and grow in kindred relationships with one another. Not a culture of Leader and followers, but each taking pride in their unique roles and gifts God has entrusted them for his Kingdom. Being strong and fierce in the face of hard times; meek and humble in the quite reflective times.

******EXCITING NEWS******
We are thrilled to announce, that after almost 7 months,
REFIT with Annie and Quin Group will be starting their Tuesday night classes at CrossLink Community Church at 4747 Harrisburg Pike, Grove City, beginning TOMORROW Tuesday October 6th at 7pm.

We are going to start out slowly, with holding one class for the time being, as we want to stay focused on keeping everyone healthy and safe. As our Tuesday night classes continue to run smoothly, we will consider adding other class options to our schedule. No Excuses....This is a FREE CLASS!! We Want You There. God Wants Us Together!

So for the time being, we look forward to seeing you TOMORROW NIGHT!

****Please read the class information below. Share this with a friend and invite them to join us.*****

We ask you to please wear a face mask coming into class and exiting class, to try and stop the spread of any germs and limit sharing any germs with others. Masks will not be provided.
You do not have to wear the mask while you are working out. If you could please come into the gymnasium and find a spot to work out, with 6 foot socially distanced spacing, and then you can take your mask off once class begins. We are going to try to start promptly at 7pm, so you can plan accordingly with your mask wearing. The health department states you are not required to wear masks while working out.
Upon arrival, we always ask you to sign in. Now, Annie or I, will be signing you in as you arrive. Please take a moment to stop at our Check in table at the entrance to the gym. This also helps us keep track of who was in attendance, if by chance someone from one of our classes would contract COVID, we need to be able to make contact with all in attendance.
If you have symptoms and/ or pre-existing health concerns, please consider the health of others, as well as yourself. As much as we would like for us all to exercise together, we really want to keep everyone healthy and safe. You may want to check your temperature before coming to class. If you are not aware of the other COVID symptoms by now, please check online before coming to class.
After class, during our HEART TIME, devotions, prayer requests and prayer, we ask that you all please stay for this period of time and we ask that you stay in your “workout space”. There will be no “Pinky Holding” and I know some of you will be sad, but there will be No Hugging (before or after class).
Bring plenty of water, as it will not be available at the church. Try and limit the use of the restroom (That can be difficult for some). Bring your own tissues or towel, if needed. Hand sanitizer will be available.

CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE YOU!!!

Grateful Monday!

The system of animal sacrifice to atone for sins was only temporary. It foreshadowed the time when Jesus Christ would sacrifice Himself and resolve the problem of sin once and for all. His death and resurrection ushered in a new agreement between God and all people. In the new covenant, Jesus satisfies all the conditions. Our only obligation is to put our faith in Him. What's more, now, instead of being obliged to follow a list of external rules, God writes those rules directly on our hearts through the indwelling presence of His Holy Spirit. He meets all the conditions of the covenant for us, and then He showers us with divine benefits and blessings. Thank You, God, for the new covenant!

Happy Saturday morning ladies! There will not be a live devotional today, but I wanted to share a devotional I read yesterday. Since we have dealt with our emotions in past live devos, I thought you might like this one just as I did.
Enjoy and hope you have a great weekend! 💚

"27 Emotions"

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.
Deuteronomy 31:6

How many emotions are swirling around inside you? In the old days, we were taught human personalities were composed of six emotions that mixed together, like primary colors, to create a range of feelings. A study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America suggests that there are 27 basic emotions. The list is too long to print here, but it includes: amusement, anxiety, awe, boredom, calmness, disgust, envy, excitement, fear, horror, sadness, and sympathy.

Our emotions can overwhelm us, but we shouldn’t let them overwhelm the truth of God. When you experience fear, sadness, anxiety, or confusion, turn your attention to the Word of God. There are two chapters in the Bible, Deuteronomy 31 and Joshua 1, in which the Lord tells us again and again: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

These are good chapters to read when your emotions are giving you trouble. Listen to your Father more than to your feelings!

You should not believe your feelings more than the Word which the Lord preaches to you. -Martin Luther

Deuteronomy 31:1-8 (NKJV)

JOSHUA THE NEW LEADER OF ISRAEL

31 Then Moses went and spoke these words to all Israel. 2 And he said to them: “I am one hundred and twenty years old today. I can no longer go out and come in. Also the Lord has said to me, ‘You shall not cross over this Jordan.’ 3 The Lord your God Himself crosses over before you; He will destroy these nations from before you, and you shall dispossess them. Joshua himself crosses over before you, just as the Lord has said. 4 And the Lord will do to them as He did to Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites and their land, when He destroyed them. 5 The Lord will give them over to you, that you may do to them according to every commandment which I have commanded you. 6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”

7 Then Moses called Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, “Be strong and of good courage, for you must go with this people to the land which the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall cause them to inherit it. 8 And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

As you surrender your mind to the Holy Spirit...your desire to control the world and the people around you will cease and life will become less and less overwhelming.
