Tomorrow is the last day for regularly schedule JAM. Beginning in June, JAM classes will run during the second service only. In July and August, JAM classes will be on break for the summer and we encourage families to worship together in the sanctuary! Busy bags will be freshly stocked and little ones with excessive wiggles can take a parent to the nursery (it will be open for parent use).

This Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. May we never forget their sacrifice, and may God bless the families who carry their memory every day.

Yesterday we said "thank you" to all our children's ministry volunteers: nursery helpers, ladies who cook dinner for Glow Kids, leaders, JAM teachers, subs, and safety team!

Today we give thanks for the women who have poured love, strength, and faith into our lives. We bless the mothers who raised us, the grandmothers who prayed for us, the aunts, sisters, mentors, and friends who have mothered with open hearts and steady hands.

We also hold in prayer those for whom this day is tender—those grieving the loss of a mother or child, those who longed to be mothers but could not, and those whose relationships with their mothers bring pain instead of peace.

May God’s comfort surround you, His grace sustain you, and His love remind you that nurturing, protecting, and giving life are divine callings that take many forms.

“Her children rise up and call her blessed… but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” — Proverbs 31:28, 30
