October 26, 2025 we celebrated the Baptism of baby James Scott Wells and received his father Broden Wells as a full member of Christ UMC. It was an honor to Officiate at the service. Our Sunday service is every Sunday @ 10:45am, come worship with us!

Thursday, April 6, 2023, 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Maundy Thursday Service at First UMC, 23 Willow Street, Mystic. The service will be followed by a soup and bread supper. Pastor Abi will be preaching and Rev. Jean Marsh will lead the service and communion. This will be a combined service with New London UMC, First UMC, Old Mystic UMC, and Christ UMC.

Friday, April 7, 2023, the 42nd Annual MAEC Good Friday Walk. You are invited to participate in the walk and secure sponsors. The purpose of the Walk is to support local food agencies and assist rural communities in Alabama and Mississippi. The scenic 7-mile route travels from Mystic Congregational Church to Old Mystic Methodist Church and back. Refreshments will be available at Old Mystic UMC. Stations of the Cross along the way emphasize the theme We Are Walking with Jesus. Additional information and sponsor sheets are available in the narthex.
