What a blessing our ladies received last night! From the men who cooked and served a delicious steak dinner, to the teen girls who decorated all the tables, great fellowship, to check in, prayer, praising the Lord in song, to 3 of our military veteran women willing to share their testimonies of Gods faithfulness and goodness no matter where we are in the world, to the massive clean up and to the 150 ladies who attended. Friendship Baptist has been blessed beyond measure

As I listened to Jill, Nikki and Kimm give their testimonies, I couldn’t help but think that anyone who sees them at church has no idea of not just their accomplishments in their military service, but in the trials of their lives. And how true that is of anyone we pass by at church,neighbors, at work, a restaurant or store. Do we truly know or see the trials they face? Do I see the pain that might be in their faces or just pass on by in my busy little world?
May I do better at actually seeing the people God has placed in my life and in my path and give them the hope that is only found in Jesus!
