❤️❤️ A SPECIAL BLESSING FOR OUR PRESIDING BISHOP ❤️❤️❤️❤️

As Pastor Appreciation Month comes to a close, there is something that has been weighing heavily on our hearts.

So often, pastors are overlooked, underappreciated, and sometimes even forgotten. We see their smiles, hear their sermons, and receive their prayers, but we rarely see the sacrifices they make behind the scenes. We don’t always see the burdens they carry, the personal needs they set aside, or the countless times they give of themselves without expecting anything in return.

Earlier this month, we publicly celebrated our beloved Presiding Bishop. John-Michael Villarreal Gil, but we feel led to do something more than simply say THANK YOU.

Our Bishop is constantly traveling, ministering, encouraging others, and pouring himself into the work of the Lord. His heart has always been for the small, local church, the congregations that are so often overlooked by others. He shows up when nobody else does. He gives even when it costs him personally. And so often, his own sacrifices go unnoticed.

But who pours into the one who is always pouring into everyone else? Who remembers the shepherd when everyone else has gone home?

As he continues his doctoral studies at one of the top and prestigious seminaries in the nation, it is on our hearts to help lighten his financial burden, especially with his tuition and educational expenses.

We know he would never ask for this himself, so WE ARE ASKING FOR HIM! Ñ

We are not asking because he is looking for recognition or because he expects anything in return. We are asking because we believe that someone who has spent so much of his life helping others fulfill their calling deserves to have people stand beside him as he pursues his own.

Wouldn’t it be something beautiful if the very people he has spent years pouring into could now come together and pour back into him? If we could help ease even a little of the financial weight he carries, what a tremendous blessing that would be!

If our Bishop has ever prayed for you, encouraged you, ministered to you, or simply been a blessing in your life, would you prayerfully consider blessing him financially?

It doesn’t have to be a large amount. Whether it’s $10, $25, $50, $100, or whatever the Lord places on your heart, every gift matters. What may seem small to one person could become part of something extraordinary when we come together in love.

More than anything, we want him to know that HE IS SEEN. HE IS LOVED. HE IS APPRECIATED. AND HIS LABOR IS NOT IN VAIN!

He has spent so many years making sure others are taken care of. For once, let’s make sure someone is taking care of him. ❤️🙏

Let’s not allow Pastor Appreciation Month to end with only words of gratitude. Let’s put our love into action and be a blessing to our Bishop!

CELEBRATING OUR LEADERS | PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH

Some people carry titles. Others carry the scars, the sacrifices, and the sacred weight of a calling that has cost them everything.

For 55 years, Rev. Dr. Lidia P. Gil has poured out her life for the Kingdom of God. She has preached where others would not go, pastored where others would not stay, visited the forgotten, prayed over the broken, and loved people when loving them came at a cost.

There are sermons we will never forget, prayers we never heard, tears we never saw, and sacrifices only Heaven can record. And yet, through sickness, sorrow, disappointments, and storms, SHE IS STILL STANDING!!!!! STILL SERVING!!!!! STILL CARRYING THE FIRE OF THE HOLY GHOST!!!!!!!

Today, the Full Gospel Missionary Assembly honors our beloved General Supervisor of Women, not simply for the offices she has held, but for the countless lives she has touched.

Dr. Gil, generations will walk in the harvest of seeds you planted through tears. Your labor has not been in vain!

And as you have declared through your life’s testimony: “NONE OF THESE THINGS MOVE ME!” (Acts 20:24)

The years have passed, the battles have been many, but the oil has not run dry, the anointing has not lifted, and THE FIRE IS STILL BURNING!!!!!

WE LOVE YOU! WE HONOR YOU! AND WE THANK GOD FOR YOUR LIFE! ❤️

October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and we begin by honoring our Presiding Bishop, The Most Reverend Dr. John-Michael Villarreal Gil.

Some people see the title.
Some see the vestments.
Some see the pulpit.

But God sees the cost.

He sees the nights you prayed when nobody knew your heart was breaking. He sees the weight you carried for churches, pastors, ministers, and families while carrying burdens of your own. He sees every time you stood strong for others when you barely had strength left for yourself.

And still, you kept saying YES.

Yes when it hurt.
Yes when you were misunderstood.
Yes when leadership became lonely.
Yes when walking away would have been easier.

You kept preaching.
You kept praying.
You kept building.
You kept believing in people.

Bishop, there are people still standing because you would not stop praying for them. There are ministers who did not quit because you reminded them that God had called them. There are churches still alive because you refused to let them die alone.

So today, FGMA rises to say:

We see you.
We honor you.
We thank God for you.

And after all the years you have spent pouring oil on everyone else, may this be the season when God pours fresh oil back upon you.

May the hands you have strengthened now strengthen you.

May the people you have covered now cover you in prayer.

And may heaven remind you that your labor has not been in vain.

We love you, Bishop Villarreal.

Thank you for carrying the mantle.

Thank you for carrying us.

And thank you, above all, for never taking back your yes.

Today our hearts are overflowing with gratitude as we celebrate 55 YEARS OF MINISTRY for our beloved General Supervisor of Women, Rev. Dr. Lidia P. Gil!

For fifty-five years she has stood in the fire, answered the call, preached the Gospel, taught the Word, trained leaders, served the Church, and poured herself into generations of men and women for the glory of God.

From evangelist, Sunday School teacher, church secretary, district leader, pastor, educator, principal, dean, and director of a Bible institute, to the many places of service that can never be captured by a title, she has remained faithful.

But perhaps one of the greatest testimonies of her ministry is this: she has always been willing to go where others would not go.

She pastored churches nobody else wanted to pastor.
She stood in pulpits others overlooked.
She went into neighborhoods others were afraid to enter.
She walked into hospital rooms when nobody else showed up.
She visited the sick, prayed with the hurting, sat beside the lonely, and ministered to people others had forgotten.
She has gone into places where some would not even dare to go because she understood that if there was a soul there, there was ministry there.

She has been there when there was no applause, no recognition, no spotlight, and sometimes no one else willing to stand beside her.

She has prayed when nobody saw it. She has labored when nobody applauded. She has taught, preached, encouraged, corrected, mentored, sacrificed, and kept pressing forward because the call of God upon her life was greater than the cost.

There were churches that needed somebody—she went.
There were families that needed somebody—she went.
There were hospital rooms that needed somebody—she went.
There were hurting people that needed somebody to remind them that God had not forgotten them—she went.

And the words of Acts 20:24 have become more than a Scripture, they have become the testimony of her life:

“But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy…”

And after 55 years, SHE IS STILL RUNNING!

Still preaching.
Still teaching.
Still praying.
Still serving.
Still pouring into the next generation.
Still carrying the fire of the Holy Ghost.

And yes… sometimes she may be running with a walker, but SHE IS STILL RUNNING! 😂🔥🙌🏽
Because you cannot retire a calling, you cannot silence an anointing, and you cannot put out a fire that God Himself started!

Dr. Gil, THANK YOU.

Thank you for every prayer nobody heard.
Thank you for every hospital visit nobody knew about.
Thank you for every church you pastored when others would not go.
Thank you for every difficult assignment you accepted.
Thank you for every sermon preached, every lesson taught, every student trained, every minister encouraged, every tear wiped, every family prayed for, and every soul you have pointed toward Jesus.

Thank you for showing us what faithfulness looks like.

Thank you for teaching us that ministry is not about platforms,it is about people. It is not about titles, it is about service. It is not about being seen, it is about being willing to go when God says, “Whom shall I send?” And for 55 years, your answer has been:
“HERE AM I. SEND ME.”

The Full Gospel Missionary Assembly, Inc. rises today to honor you, celebrate you, love you, and thank God for the tremendous gift you have been to this Church and to the Kingdom of God.

55 years of faithfulness.
55 years of anointing.
55 years of sacrifice.
55 years of preaching.
55 years of serving.
55 years of going where others would not go.
55 years of saying YES to God.

And we believe the best is not behind you, there is still oil in your vessel, fire in your spirit, a Word in your mouth, and work yet to be done!!!!

We love you.
We honor you.
We thank God for you.

🔥 HOLY CONVOCATION 2027 — REVIVING THE FIRE 🔥

“Reviving the Fire of Yesterday for Today and Tomorrow”

Haggai 2:9

WE ARE GOING BACK TO THE FIRE!!!!

Not to worship the ashes.
Not to romanticize the past.
Not simply to walk where they walked.

WE ARE GOING BACK TO ASK THE GOD WHO DID IT THEN TO DO IT AGAIN!

In 2027, the Full Gospel Missionary Assembly is going to Los Angeles, California, for Holy Convocation, returning to the historic ground where ordinary men and women became desperate for an extraordinary move of God.

We will journey to the historic sites connected to the Azusa Street Revival. We will visit Bonnie Brae House, where prayer preceded Pentecostal outpouring. We will experience Angelus Temple and other places that bear witness to generations who dared to believe that the power of Acts was not dead.

But hear us clearly:

WE ARE NOT GOING TO LOS ANGELES TO VISIT A GRAVEYARD OF REVIVAL.

We are going looking for FIRE!!!!!!!

Because the Holy Ghost did not die when Azusa closed its doors.
The fire did not end when William Seymour went home to glory.
Pentecost was never supposed to become a chapter in a history book.

THE FIRE STILL FALLS!!!!
THE BLOOD STILL WORKS!!!!
THE GIFTS STILL OPERATE!!!!
HOLINESS STILL MATTERS!!!!
JESUS STILL SAVES!!!!
AND THE HOLY GHOST STILL FILLS WITH POWER!!!!!

Our forefathers and foremothers prayed until heaven opened. They crossed racial barriers when society demanded segregation. They worshiped together when the world said they should remain divided. From a humble mission in Los Angeles, the flames of Pentecost traveled across America and around the world.

Now it is our turn.

We refuse to become a generation that can explain revival but has never experienced it.

We refuse to inherit the language of Pentecost without inheriting its POWER.

We refuse to preserve yesterday’s ashes while losing yesterday’s FIRE.

We want the altar again.
We want travail again.
We want holiness again.
We want signs and wonders again.
We want souls saved again.
We want chains broken again.
We want the Holy Ghost to fall AGAIN!

So we are going back, not because we believe God lives at Azusa Street, but because Azusa reminds us what happens when hungry people get desperate enough for God.

We will HONOR the fire of yesterday.
We will REKINDLE the fire for today.
And we will CARRY the fire into tomorrow.

This is more than a Convocation.

THIS IS A PILGRIMAGE TO OUR PENTECOSTAL ROOTS.

And when we leave Los Angeles, our prayer is not that we return home talking about what happened at Azusa.

Our prayer is that somebody will look at US and say:

🔥 “PENTECOST HAS COME AGAIN!” 🔥

Yesterday gave us a testimony.

Today demands an encounter.

Tomorrow is waiting for the fire.

Today, the Full Gospel Missionary Assembly pauses to honor and celebrate the life of our Presiding Bishop, Rev. Dr. John-Michael Villarreal Gil

We thank God for a leader who has given so much of himself to the work of the Kingdom. Ministry requires sacrifice, and through the years, our Bishop has sacrificed his time, resources, comfort, and even personal moments to answer the call of God and serve His people.

There have been sacrifices made that many will never see, prayers prayed that no one ever heard, burdens carried quietly, and moments when quitting would have been easier, but through it all, he kept saying YES to God. ❤️‍🔥

Today, we pray that this new year of life brings him fresh oil, renewed strength, restored joy, greater doors, and an abundant harvest for every seed he has sown into the lives of others.
