This page is not associated with nor conducts business on behalf of the Hall Services or Property Corporations or hall rentals. The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic benefit society, open to practicing Catholic men 18 years or older in union with the Holy See. Mary’s Church in New Haven, CT in 1882 by Venerable Father Michael J. McGivney, the Knights of Columbus today has a membe

rship of more than 2 million members across the globe. As a fraternal benefit society, the Knights of Columbus cares for the financial needs of its members and their families through its insurance program, which has received the highest ratings possible from A.M. Best and been named a World’s Most Ethical Company by the Ethisphere Institute. As the world’s largest Catholic fraternal organization, the Knights of Columbus has provided both financial aid and volunteer hours to organizations such as March for Life, Special Olympics, World Youth Day, the Global Wheelchair Mission, the U.S. of Veterans Affairs, as well as parishes and communities around the world. In the past decade, the Knights of Columbus has contributed $1.5 billion and 690 million hours to charitable projects. Marquette Council was granted its charter on June 14, 1953 and oversaw the vast territory that at the time belonged to its home parish of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Griffith. Today, Marquette 3631 still calls St. Mary's home and also takes care of the needs of the parishioners of St. Ann in the Black Oak neighborhood of the city of Gary, Indiana. We are engaged in the life of the parish and our surrounding community. Our meetings are held on the first and third Thursday of every month at 7:30 PM. We invite all practical Catholic men, age 18 and older, to come be a part of our mission that Fr. Michael J. McGivney charged us with, to be our brother's keeper.

Disregard the photo, it’s Marquette in Griffith, not our brothers in Crown Point. But more importantly, come join us for a little relief from the dark and get a dog and a bag of chips.

All glory and praise to PGK Pat Glavin for spearheading this event and putting it together!

The Griffith Knights of Columbus will give hot dogs to people in the community who are still suffering without power after last week's storm. ⤵️ Find a link to the story in the comments.

Attention all members: due to the recent storms and due to the building still without power, this Thursday's business meeting has been cancelled. We hope to resume our calendar next month. If you have any questions, please reach out to our GK Mike Voyak. You can leave a message here or you can email the council at: [email protected]

Thank you!

We have cancelled the tootsie roll drive for this weekend due to the inclement weather the region has sustained and the continuing power outages. Our focus right now is the safety of all our members and families and our communities. Once power is restored and cleanup efforts have been completed and things return to normal, we will reschedule this event.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
