We had the BEST time yesterday partnering with Second Baptist Church at Camp Faith!!
We heard the story of Paulā€™s Shipwreck and learned that God is with us through every adventure! (Acts 26-27).
We also learned a Bible verse that every kid was able to repeat by the end of the day: Psalm 56:3.
We played games, made crafts, retold the story through play, and finished off our day at camp with Sā€™mores!
A HUGE thank you to ALL of our volunteers! Because of you, we had a fun, safe, and wonderful day that went off without a hitch!
We couldnā€™t have done it without you!

Scripture this morning comes from šŸ“– Exodus 32:1-14.

Sometimes we get so caught up in what was that we lose sight of what God is doing right now. the Israelites allowed their fear and impatience to pull them away from God, reminding us how easy it is to turn back to old habits instead of trusting His plan.

God calls us to move from our past, learn from it, and live faithfully in the present. We cannot change yesterday, but we can choose to trust God today and allow Him to guide our tomorrow. ā›Ŗļø

We need trunks! We are 2 weeks away and only have 12 trunks right now. Help us make this a special event for the community surrounding our church! This is a wonderful opportunity to show our neighbors who we are, that weā€™re here for them, and that they are always welcome at Trinity Methodist. Please sign up today!
Answers to some frequently asked questions:
ā€¢ The childrenā€™s ministry will help provide candy.
ā€¢ We are also accepting candy donations
ā€¢ Your trunk does not have to be biblically themed.
ā€¢ It can include a fun game (spin the wheel, toss the bean bag in the pale, etc)
ā€¢ You do not have to go out and purchase decorations. You can use what you already have: Christmas theme, Easter theme, old birthday party decorations, toys, books, etc.
ā€¢ If you prefer to purchase, Oriental Trading has ready made kits for 15.00. Just purchase and paste.

In šŸ“– Matthew 21:23-32, the religious leaders questioned Jesus about where His authority came from, Jesus challenged them to examine their own hearts and motives.

This passage reminds us that faith isn't about having all the answers-it's about being willing to recognize God's authority and respond to Him with humility and obedience. šŸ•Š
