Dear God,
There are times I don’t fully grasp the magnitude of Your power or what You are able to do in and through me. Give me fresh vision and understanding of who You are… greater, stronger, and mightier than anything in this world. “With God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26) Fill my heart with awe and reverence for Your greatness.

Help me to walk in that truth today. Teach me to pray with confidence, knowing that You are able and that nothing is beyond Your reach. Strengthen my faith so I live boldly, trusting in Your power at work in every situation.

In Jesus’ name, amen. 🙏

🌿 DAY 11

Strength for the Weary

📖 1 Kings 19:4–8

“But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die…” — 1 Kings 19:4

📜 Historical Background

Elijah had just experienced one of the greatest victories in Scripture. On Mount Carmel, God answered by fire and defeated the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18). It was a public, powerful triumph.

Yet immediately after, Queen Jezebel threatened his life.

The same prophet who stood boldly before a nation now runs in fear.

He travels into the wilderness, sits under a juniper tree, and asks God to take his life.

This is not weakness — this is exhaustion.

Even strong servants get tired.

✍🏾 Devotional Reflection

Elijah teaches us something important:

Spiritual victory does not cancel human vulnerability.

You can preach with power and still feel depleted.
You can lead others and still need strengthening yourself.

Notice how God responds.

God does not rebuke Elijah.
God does not shame Elijah.
God feeds Elijah.

An angel provides cake and water — twice.

Before God speaks correction, He provides care.

Sometimes what we call spiritual attack is physical exhaustion.
Sometimes the answer isn’t rebuke — it’s rest.

Elijah slept.
He ate.
He regained strength.

And then he traveled forty days to Mount Horeb, where God spoke again.

Your exhaustion does not disqualify you.

God restores weary servants.

🔍 Reflection Questions
1. Am I spiritually drained but pretending to be strong?
2. Have I allowed myself to rest when needed?
3. Where do I need God to restore my strength?

🙏🏾 Prayer

Father, when I am weary, meet me with compassion. Feed me spiritually and restore me physically. Remind me that exhaustion does not mean failure. Strengthen me for the journey ahead.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

🌿 DAY 10

Daily Bread

📖 Exodus 16:4, 14–15

“Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day…” — Exodus 16:4

📜 Historical Background

Exodus 16 takes place shortly after Israel leaves Egypt. They have crossed the Red Sea, witnessed Pharaoh’s defeat, and experienced miraculous deliverance.

Yet only weeks later, they begin to complain.

They are in the Wilderness of Sin, and food is scarce. They say it would have been better to die in Egypt than to hunger in freedom.

Instead of responding with judgment, God responds with provision.

He rains down manna — bread from heaven — every morning.

But there is a condition:

Gather only enough for the day.

If they tried to store it overnight (except before the Sabbath), it spoiled.

God was teaching daily dependence.

✍🏾 Devotional Reflection

Notice something powerful:

God did not give them weekly bread.
He gave them daily bread.

Why?

Because dependence grows when control shrinks.

If they had surplus stored up, they might stop trusting.
If they could hoard it, they might stop praying.

So God structured provision in a way that required relationship.

Each morning, they had to go out and gather what heaven provided.

That means yesterday’s manna would not sustain today’s hunger.

Spiritually, the same is true.

You cannot live today off:
• Yesterday’s sermon
• Last year’s breakthrough
• Old testimonies alone

God invites you into fresh, daily communion.

When Jesus later taught us to pray, He said:
“Give us this day our daily bread.”

Not next week’s.
Not next year’s.

Today’s.

God knows exactly what you need — and He promises to supply it one day at a time.

🔍 Reflection Questions
1. Am I trying to live spiritually off past experiences?
2. What is my daily rhythm of gathering from God?
3. Do I trust God for today — or do I try to control tomorrow?

🙏🏾 Prayer

Father, thank You for being my daily provider. Teach me to trust You one day at a time. Help me seek fresh manna each morning. Remove fear about tomorrow and strengthen my faith for today.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
