The last of the cement work is completed and being walked and driven on. Thank you to all the donors who made it possible and JJ Costa for getting it finished before school started! We currently putting down sod to get a jump start on the grass growing in.

The next phase of our Renovation Campaign will be outdoor lighting and electric. We want to light up the parts of campus that get dark in the evenings, such as the alleys between church and Jerome Hall and between Jerome Hall and the rectory, as well as installing photocell sensors so everything runs automatically.

Who is God placing on your heart?

On August 16, Catholics throughout the Archdiocese of New Orleans will celebrate Welcome Home Sunday. Archbishop Checchio is inviting each of us to personally invite one person to Mass that weekend.

This week, begin with prayer. Ask the Sacred Heart of Jesus to place someone on your heart — a family member, friend, coworker, neighbor, or someone who may be searching for hope, healing, purpose, or a deeper relationship with God.

One invitation can change a life.
