Worship at the Grenola United Methodist Church is a time to experience God’s love made present and active as we sing hymns of praise and thanks to God, who guides us toward good paths in our lives. Through worship we listen to God’s word found in the Bible and to how the word of God can come alive in our own lives. Loving people is motivated by our love for God and knowing what Jesus has done for

us. This allows others to see Christ in us as we help serve in our community and the world. When we witness to the love and grace of Jesus and follow his teachings through acts of compassion, justice, worship and devotion under the guidance of the Holy Spirit we follow the great commission that Jesus gave us. As we make disciples of our friends, neighbors and coworkers, we are to welcome them into the congregation as we share our common baptism and grow in our faith so that together we can go out and make disciples and transform the world.
