Since it is planting season here in Missouri, we thought it would be a good time to share with you what is happening in our ministry. While it may not seem like much is going on, there is a lot happening below the surface. In other words, we are preparing the soil, planting seeds, and putting down roots.
Jesus taught that there is a growth process in doing work for Him. Obviously, we're called to sow seeds in the ground. But above ground, we need to exercise patience as the seed produces first a blade, then an ear, and then the full corn in the ear (Mark 4:26-29). Right now, we're are preparing soil where God has called us to be and planting seeds there.
It's said that a plant has to grow deep into the ground before it breaks through above ground. The full root system of a mature plant may be as large or larger than what is seen on the surface. We are growing things out of sight so we can be more than ready when we do things that will be seen by the public.
We're asked often about how things are going, so we'll just answer everyone by saying, "We're growing!" Thanks to all of you for your interest and well wishes. We'd also like to thank our partners for their faith and support.
