I’m a little late getting to this but I would like to personally thank everyone who came out to worship with us yesterday. It was an awesome service with 72 in attendance! A very special thank you Daniel Smith and the Unseen Anthem for being here and leading us in worship. 🙌🙌🙌

Such a wonderful day in the house of our Lord on this Pentecost Sunday! Also, such a wonderful blessing having the Davis family with us today! God is so good!

He has risen!!!

He has risen!!!

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you.” 1 Peter 1:3-4

On this Resurrection Sunday, lets us remember the sacrifice made on each and everyone’s behalf as well as the mercy shown so each can obtain everlasting life and life more abundant through Jesus Christ our Lord who defeated death and the grave by rising again.

God Bless each and every one on this day!

Let us not forget what this season is truly about!

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16

God Bless each and everyone this CHRISTmas season!

Let us not forget what this season is all about!

This has been our mission from the start, we’ll continue on with Jesus and love! The one who was kissed on the cheek, and betrayed, but yet never sinned. Oh how sweet he is! Let us all remember his birth and rejoice for what he has done!

So many people have lost loved ones, and have pain during this season but we want to bring some warmth to the hearts of the community.

Join us at POST OAK BAPTIST CHURCH for the next two weeks we will be there off and on taking donations for needy families and more. We will make the announcement with details in the next few days. Get with us please if you would like to get involved and help the community during this time or if you know someone that has a need! You can message us here or call 501-825-2066. God Bless!

This was a year ago but the words still ring true...He is risen and God is still on the throne, today, yesterday and forever! For those seeking comfort today, only look to Jesus, keeping your eye on things eternal.

New Year, New Me Challenge.

“And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man hath not where to lay his head. And he said unto another, FOLLOW ME. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee, but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough and looking back is fit for the kingdom of God. Luke 9:58-62

As we move into a New Year, many of us will reflect back on what the previous year brought to us. Many will start a “New Year, New Me” challenge to themselves. My challenge for 2020 is to FOLLOW HIM, give him a continual place to lay his head, working on our spiritual fitness, all for the glory and kingdom of God.

Wishing everyone a safe and Happy New Year filled with the Love of Jesus Christ!

“And the angel said unto them, Fear not, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:10-11

Wishing everyone a Very Merry Christmas from all of us at Post Oak Baptist Church to all of you!

"And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof, but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed." Matthew 8:5-8

We see from this short passage that the Centurion obviously has great faith, however I think my main takeaway is the fact that whatever issue (sickness) that comes my way, when laid at the feet of Jesus, can be and will be HEALED.

We may find ourselves as the Centurion, not feeling worthy, but we are made worthy through the shed blood of Jesus Christ and Faith in him alone.

Psalm 107:20 "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."

God Bless,

KR
