Hello Rez Student Parents,
We will have our first Middle School meeting tonight. We will be focusing on "Prayer Life", Pastor Stan will be teaching our first lesson. We will meet in the Activity Center from 6:45PM-8:45 PM.

The Rest of February at a Glance
· Middle School only tonight (2/12)
· Sunday 9AM all Middle and High School Students. Start in the Sanctuary and move to the Activity Center
· WED 2/19 HSO High School Only, Guys and Gals. Book Study: "Victory Over the Darkness"
· WED 2/26 NO Bro Bible Study Ethan is out of town. Girls will still meet with Kristi off Campus.
Looking ahead to March (We will begin meeting 3 Sundays per Month)
· Sunday 3/2: 9AM all Middle and High School Students. Start in the Sanctuary and move to the Activity Center. Discuss Gospel of John.
· Wednesday 3/5: Bro Bible Study. All male Middle and High School Students. Study 1 Peter. 6:45PM-8:45PM in the A/C. GIrls will meet off Campus same time

📢Student Events 2025📢

Student Sundays Update ⛪️
- Starting this Sunday, January 19, students will attend the music portion of the worship service in the sanctuary during the 9 AM service. Afterward, an elder will dismiss students to the Activity Center, where they will split into discussion groups. We will continue meeting in the sanctuary on Student Sundays to sing, with the ultimate goal of forming a Student Band to lead music in the Activity Center.
- Beginning in March, we will meet three Sundays each month: the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd (we are moving our traditional 1st Sunday Fellowship to the 4th Sunday).

Selah Worship and Prayer Night 🎵🙏
Join us on Wednesday, January 22, at 6 PM at Rez. Please attend with your student(s).

Ongoing Midweek Meetings🤝📖💪🏻
- Girls Bible Study: This group meets every 1st and 4th Wednesday evening from 6:45 to 8:45 PM. This group has already started.
- Bro Bible Study: Starting February 5, this group will meet every 1st and 4th Wednesday of each month from 6:45 to 8:45 PM at Rez. (There will be no meeting on February 26.)
-M.S.O (Middle School Only): Starting February 12, this group will meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 6:45 to 8:45 PM at Rez.
- H.S.O (High School Only): Starting February 19, this group will meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6:45 to 8:45 PM at Rez.

Save the Date Events 📆
- Student Retreat: April 4, 5, and 6. The retreat will likely take place at Awanita Valley, located at 600 Gap Creek Rd, Marietta, SC 29666. This camp is owned by Look Up Lodge and offers unique experiences like horseback riding and Humvee rides. The cost will be around $160.
- Student Mission Trip: We will be going to the Appalachian region in Leslie County, Kentucky, which is one of the poorest areas in the U.S. We will partner with Big Creek Missions, who will provide housing and meals. The cost is $259 per person, which covers lodging and meals (transportation is not included). The tentative dates for the trip are July 13–19. We are hosting a party at our new home! All Middle & High School Students are invited!

When: This Wednesday 10/30, 6:45PM-8:45PM

Where: Ketola Residence (Text me for the address).

What: We are gonna carve pumpkins and hangout near the fire. Snacks will be provided. Dress up in a costume if you'd like.

Our students will face countless trials in their lives. So many different things will vie for their attention. A healthy prayer life is vital to help us walk in "lock step" with God and to enjoy Him forever. We want to equip your child(ren) with a solid biblical understanding of prayer.

We are excited to announce our Student Retreat focused on prayer, March 11-12 at Look Up Lodge. Our goal during these two days is to help answer: What Is Prayer?, Why Pray? and How to Pray?

The cost of the trip is $85.00 per person and will include 4 meals, lodging and a T-shirt. However if you would like your child to go but need financial assistance, please reach out to Ethan! We don't want anyone to miss out!

Students, you don't want to miss our Christmas party THIS Sunday night! Be at the Student Center at 4:00 for games, pizza, bonfire, and s'mores! Then we'll go to Greer City Park for the Greer Christmas Hymn Sing.

Students, don't miss our Student Bonfire and Christmas Party on Sunday, December 19th at 4:00PM! We will have pizza and S'mores, hang out around the bonfire and play some 4 Square!
