On Friday and Saturday, February 18-19, we’ll host David Mathis for our biannual men’s retreat. David will explore the theme “Feed” with us. As men, God has made us to feed others through our loving leadership, but the only way we can fulfill our God-given roles is if we feed ourselves as God intends.

Men of all ages are invited. We’ll kick off our weekend at the church property on Friday evening with a special dinner, and on Saturday we’ll meet at Lookup Lodge in the beautiful hills of Travelers Rest. Join your brothers for this special time together.

"Your desire for friendship is a sign that you are a human...
God put the longing for friendship in your DNA."

As with many other things, our world sells us lies about friendship. (1) You don't need it; you're fine by yourself. (2) You can have it through social media; just connect some more. (3) It's not worth pursuing; it hurts too much. (4) You can't attain it; it's too elusive.
Here is a man, a pastor, a friend, who has thought long and hard about what friendship is and why it's so essential to our existence.
By God's grace, our Men's Retreat is going to make us stronger men, stronger husbands, stronger fathers. I need this, and so do you.
Make your plans to join us this coming weekend. Even if you can only come on Friday or only on Saturday, do it!

Brothers, on Thursday we will begin our 6-week fall study. If you don't know about 33 The Series or you've gone through it before, jump in.
Each Thursday we'll watch a video and then split into discussion groups to encourage each other and pray for each other.
