Did you know we turned our little local library into a food pantry for our neighbors? In doing so, our hope is to bless those in need in the surrounding neighborhoods of our church.

We need your help! Our Food Pantry is running low on goods. If you are able to, please bring any of the following items with you this Sunday, June 21st:
- peanut butter
- jelly
- white rice
- dry pinto beans
- canned chicken (pop-top lids if possible)
- canned tuna (pop-top lids if possible)
- pasta
- spaghetti sauce, marinara and tomato sauce
- cans of soup
- cans of ravioli
- cans of pasta (pop-top lids if possible)

Join us in praying for Pastor and his family as he begins a six-week sabbatical today after 25 years of church ministry.

During this season, the LaPlaces will be pausing their responsibilities with The Village while continuing their co-vocational work. We pray this time would be a gift of rest, renewal, and connection with God and one other.

We are grateful for the gifts of shared leadership and the priesthood of all believers. Our leadership team is prepared and expectant as we continue to experience God’s faithfulness and all He is doing in and through our community during this season.

During the LaPlaces’ sabbatical, Duncan Michel will serve as the primary point of contact for any questions or needs.

This Sunday at 4pm we’ll gather around the table to share a good meal, some good stories, enjoy some laughs, have some fun and discover the presence of God at work in the midst of it all.

It’s Pizza Palooza week! Grab your favorite pizza, salad, or desert as we assemble the dream team of pizza buffets. Drinks, plates, and silverware will be provided. No worries if you’re not able to bring a dish this month - it’s not a requirement and there’s always plenty! If you plan to swim bring your gear (including a towel). 105 Angeline Way, Simpsonville

📍105 Angeline Way, Simpsonville
This week is a 5th Sunday, which means a bonus Neighborhood Table Gathering! Our host family have opened their pool as well as their home. Pulled pork, hot dogs and drinks will be provided. Those who are able are invited to bring a side or desert (enough for those in your house plus 2-4 more). No worries if you’re not able to bring a dish - it’s not a requirement and there’s always plenty! If you plan to swim bring your gear (including a towel).

These gatherings are not only a great opportunity for us to connect, but they’re a great place for your neighbors to connect as well.

Sunday! We’ll gather at the building, in The Commons, to hear from Zac Webb about the Desert River Project, a ministry of Zac & Brittany to their neighbors. We’ll help resource them by together care kits for their specific use as well as kits for each of you to keep in your car as a tangible expression of love to any neighbors experiencing homelessness you may encounter.
