Table Gatherings are environments where we discover and deepen relationships that help us Become Like Jesus. These gatherings are not only a great opportunity for us to connect, but they’re a great place for your neighbors to connect with community as well.

Food: DIPS Dinner- Bring any food that has a DIP to go with it (enough for those in your party + 2-4 more)! Please bring the dip AND the food item to dip into it. Not able to? Don’t sweat it, there is always plenty to go around!

Sunday’s Compassion Gathering gave us the opportunity to offer our resources, our hands, and our prayers in worship to the Lord as we partnered with Chandler Creek Elementary to serve their students and teachers.
Giving ourselves to the practice of compassion as part of our worship of Jesus shapes us into people who experience the fullness of life in the way of Jesus. As we learn to notice and respond to the needs around us, we discover a God who is present and at work in every moment—and we are formed to be people who see what he sees, love what he loves, and join him in what he is already doing in our everyday lives.

This Sunday • 4pm • We give our hands and prayer in worship as we serve Chandler Creek Elementary.
We will be putting together water bottle (school request), notes of encouragement, and praying for each teacher as they settle into the new school year. We continue to lean in as we cultivate this relationship and say yes to the opportunities provided through it.

Our Compassion Gathering this month was one where one of our own, Christie Perilloux McMillan. God has sent her and her team to those who have been exploited to bless them by sharing God’s love.

She and her team shared how God’s presence has faithfully been at work and we appreciated their honesty, compassion and the love they shared.

It is such a gift to see how God is using ordinary people to help build His kingdom here and now.

We were grateful for the opportunity to make gift bags for her team to take and to share with the women they bless and love each week.

Join us as Christie McMillan and a panel of her team from SWITCH share what God is doing in the Upstate through their team. God’s faithful presence has been at work! After the panel shares, we will be putting together bags for them to bless the women they work with.

Village Kids will be meeting upstairs and putting together bags for the children of the women they work with. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Sara.

This Sunday we’ll gather around the table at the Reese’s house. It’s taco night! The meats and fixings will be provided. Those who are able are welcome to bring a side dish or desert of your choice. DM us for the address.

Everyone is welcome to come any time after 2pm to enjoy a bit more of the afternoon. We’ll eat at our normal 4pm time. Bring your swim suits and towels to enjoy the pool or lake if you’d like. If you’d like to swim in the lake, bring a life jacket if you have one. There are a limited number already at the house.

These gatherings are not only a great opportunity for us to connect, but they’re a great place for your neighbors to connect as well.

Save the Date! One week from today we will be hosting the South Carolina District Impact Ream! It will be an amazing night as teens from our state - including a couple of our own will lead us in worship and testimony!
