Have a Safe & Satisfying Saturday 🙌🙏💪💛🤗

•SATURDAY STUDY SESSION:
Protect Your Peace and Purpose

•Scripture:
“Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”
~ Proverbs 4:23

•Devotional:
There will be times when people disappoint you, misunderstand you, or refuse to change. Their actions may tempt you to become discouraged, bitter, distracted, or consumed by what you cannot control. Yet GOD does not ask you to carry the responsibility of changing another person’s heart. HE calls you to guard your own heart and to remain faithful to the path HE has given you.

Protecting your peace does not mean you are ignoring the situation or pretending it does not hurt. It means you are choosing not to let someone else’s choices control your emotions, your attitude, or your future. You can pray for them, love them, and do your part to live in peace, while still placing the outcome in GOD’s Hands.

Today, release the need to make others understand, apologize, grow, or change. Instead, ask GOD to strengthen your response. Keep your eyes on HIM, protect your heart from resentment, and stay focused on the purpose HE has placed within you. What GOD has called you to do is still valuable, and HIS Peace is still available to you.

~Romans 5:3–5
“We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.”

*This reminds us that problems and trials can build endurance, character, and a hope in God that will not disappoint us.

•GOD Leads Us Forward
~Isaiah 43:19
“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”

*This reminds us that GOD is always able to do something new in our lives, making a way even when the path ahead seems difficult or unclear.
