It was an honor to have our new District Superintendent, Tod Watson worshiping with us on August 30th. Todd was born and raised in Greenwood and is familiar with the Mississippi Delta. We look forward to working with Todd in building the kingdom of God here and throughout the world.

What does it really mean when Jesus says, “Follow Me”?

Following Jesus is more than believing in Him. It's choosing to trust Him with the direction of our lives. It means walking with Him when the road is easy and when it is difficult, laying down what holds us back, and discovering the life and purpose He has for us.

This Sunday, Pastor Phillip Dearman will share from Matthew 16:13–29 and Jesus’ call to take up our cross and follow Him.

Perhaps you’ve been following Jesus for a lifetime. Perhaps you’re just beginning to wonder who He is. Or perhaps you simply need a place to come, sit, listen, and be reminded that you don’t have to have everything figured out.
