The Abbeville-Greenwood Chapter Sons of Allen Organization held their annual Bowling Outing on Friday, July 11, 2025 at the Expo 300 Bowling Alley 2423 Montague Avenue Extension in Greenwood, South Carolina.
Bowling is a sport which gives a player a chance to roll a bowling ball down a wooden or synthetic lane with the objective of scoring points by knocking down as many pins as possible.
Friday was a beautiful day to bowl and the sun was shining bright which made it a perfect day to show off your skills. The Sons of Allen Organization along with the Community Outreach Center of Abbeville, South Carolina came together to provide a fellowship environment for the youth. Two full games were played with five lanes occupied. They were lane 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 which included the kids, men and women chaperones.
Team lanes first place winners and scores were: Lane #8 Tessel Deal (221), Lane #9, Sydney Watts (185); Lane #10, Jamilyah Sullivan (167); Lane #11, JaKyri Anderson (210); and Lane #12, Isaiah Anderson (129).
The children and adults had an amazing time. After the games were over everyone enjoyed pizza and drinks.
Expressions of appreciation is extended to the thirty-four children and adult chaperones for their participation in helping make this event a successful one.
