Holding On to Confidence in God’s Goodness

“Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.” — Psalms 27:13 (NLT)

Life doesn’t always feel good. There are moments when challenges seem overwhelming, prayers feel delayed, and answers aren’t clear. But this scripture reminds us of something powerful, CONFIDENCE.

David didn’t say maybe or I hope so. He declared with assurance that he would see the goodness of the Lord. Not just someday, but while he was still living.

That means God’s goodness isn’t just reserved for heaven. It shows up right here in unexpected blessings, in strength when you feel weak, in peace during chaos, and in doors opening you didn’t even knock on.

Today, choose confidence over doubt. Even if you don’t see it yet… trust that it’s coming.

Prayer: Lord, help me to remain confident in Your goodness, even when life feels uncertain. Strengthen my faith to trust that I will see Your hand at work in my life. Amen.
