Join us Sunday, May 31 at 10:00 am for Trinity Sunday. The sermon "hope changes LIVES: Who Is Different Because We Exist?" will be shared.

Hope becomes most visible when it takes shape in others' lives. Throughout this series, we have been asking what hope is and how it changes us. This final week turns that outward and asks what difference our life together makes. Isaiah describes a community that repairs what is broken, restores what has been neglected, and becomes a source of renewal for others. At Hope, we already see glimpses of this in the way people show up for one another—in friendship, in care, in quiet acts of support. This week invites us to build on that foundation. The call is to take the next step in becoming a church where people experience hope in tangible ways, not only within these walls but in the wider community. It is an invitation to live in such a way that, over time, lives are different because we are here.

MEMORIAL DAY
We Remember. We Honor. We Give Thanks.

05/23/2026

If hope is real, it does not leave us as we are. It begins to reshape how we see ourselves, how we see others, and how we move through the world. Paul describes a life in Christ as a new creation, where old ways of thinking and relating begin to give way to something new. This kind of change is not instant, and it is not always easy. It often involves letting go of patterns that have become familiar—fear, self-protection, or the assumption that nothing will really change. This week invites us to consider where hope is asking something different of us. The call is to remain open to that work—to allow God to form in us a deeper trust, a steadier presence, and a willingness to keep moving forward, even when the path is not entirely clear.

This week invites us to examine the kind of hope we hold onto. Everyday hope is often a wish that things will improve, but biblical hope is deeper, rooted in God’s character and promises even when circumstances remain uncertain. We are called to honestly consider what we trust and to place our confidence more fully in God, who is still at work in the unfinished parts of our lives.

Together, over the next four weeks, we will explore what Christian hope truly is, where it comes from, and how it takes shape in everyday life. Along the way, we will ask what it means to become a community where hope is not just spoken about, but genuinely experienced—through the way we trust, live, serve, and show up for one another. Our hope is to grow into a shared vision of who God is calling us to be: a people whose lives make the hope of Christ visible in the world around us.

Join us on May 10, at 10:00 am as we celebrate all women at Hope.
