Hi everyone! Simon is the older brother of Evan, the young man who came and helped us clear out the shed and building in January. His father and mother also helped us find homes for the old Boy Scouts uniforms and song books we found. He and a teammate made Nationals for TSA at Highlands Ranch High School, a historic first! If you are able to support his cause, please consider anything you can. If desired, you are able to change the fees to $0.

For the record, they didn't ask me to do this. I saw his mom post on another group and want to help.

I picked up several panels of the stained glass windows this morning. If anybody wants a piece for personal use, let me know. This is likely the last photo of the cross, it's coming down later today and I will collect pieces later this week. I'm still figuring out exactly what type of momento to create for everyone.
Surreal to be able to see all the way through the building from the side entrance all the way to the back classroom window, from the parking lot.

Our congregation will be packing bags for people that need help next Saturday, 9/14. I have created an amazon wish list if you would like to contribute to our effort. In addition to items on the list, I will buy Ziploc bags locally and we will include a small amount of cash ($2). If you would like to donate cash instead of items I will happily provide a Venmo account.

I wrote up a couple of pages explaining why we are doing this if you want to read my thoughts. In short, this supports our church's mission initiatives of Abolish Poverty, End Suffering; Pursue Peace on Earth; and Experience Congregations in Mission. It also highlights our Enduring Principles of Worth of All Persons and Blessings of Community.

I think it would be great if we could get 100 bags put together. I haven't calculated the exact cost of each bag but my best estimate is we need $600 in money or products to make that happen.
