We’re having our tag sale!
More than 40 tables of yard sale items will be for sale Saturday, October 11th from 9:00am to 4:00pm in the front circle of St. Paul Lutheran Church at 286 Delavan Avenue in Byram. Everything from furniture to clothing to children’s items will be available at bargain prices.

Parking is available behind the church on William St. West.

EASTER VIGIL
The Easter Vigil marks the first sign of Christ’s light and resurrection.

The Easter Vigil service begins at sunset with an invitation from the pastor to gather outside to begin the Service of Light.

A fire is lit, dispelling the night’s darkness, the pastor lights the Paschal Candle and passes light from the candle to smaller candles held by everyone in attendance.

As everyone moves inside, the light from Christ illuminates the dark worship space. It serves as a powerful symbol, as Christ is the Light of the World. As Christ’s light enters the church, it can also enter our hearts.

Historically the Easter Vigil was a time to baptize new members. This year we are blessed to add three new members!
