The ID Jacobs Women’s Missionary Society of Bethel AME Church (Greenwich, CT) is organizing an Amazon Wish List to support families affected by Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica.

One of our members has relatives on the island assisting with direct distribution, ensuring donations reach those most in need.

We are collecting:

✅ Sanitary napkins
✅ Diapers (children + adults)

Well, make a vow based on what God represents.
God is about the future so vow to let go of the past.
God is about compassion so vow to be less bitter every day.
So make your vows to the Lord based on God’s characteristics.
After all, because of Christ, you are dying to BE! The vow that tops all vows

With God we will gain the victory,� and he will trample down our enemies.
Psalm 60:11-12
So, what kind of aid we need.?
Spiritual aid, for the times when the enemies trespass against our dignity, and humanity. That aid is called Joy: with God’s help and blessings let’s do the sweaty work of joy, joy , soul saving joy to trample the enemy. Hallelujah

Beloved, doesn’t the smile, glee and laughter of babes and children make you feel good? It comes from a place, pure, shared and lives within you blocking out the storm of the day. Likewise, let the work you do come from a place within to share and reside in others that forms a blessed stronghold to silence the foes of life. From within, praise, unfettered, to God.

Beloved, ignore the world, but worship/learn from the Lord, be happy the Lord finds no deceit in your spirit . NO DECEIT! THAT’s good news! It’s what the Lord says about you and not the world.
