6/7/26 – In Case You Missed It (Or Want to Revisit)
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 4: 5-10 (New King James Version)
5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake.
6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.
8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—
10 always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.
Sermonic Text: 1 Peter 2: 9-10
(New King James Version)
9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

Do You Know Who You Are? 3 Things We Must Consider
1. What the world thinks we are? - Do you believe what the world says? The world says believers are hypocrites, that live by rules that they do not follow. This means our witness is not effective because we do the same thing in the church they do in the world. You can't live by the world's standard and please God.
2. What we believe we are? - We believe that we are saved from Hell. Being saved isn't enough. You still go through trouble, hard times, sickness, dark days. You're not invincible and no match for Satan without God. Let the word of God be the benchmark.
3. What Jesus says we are? - He says we are a chosen generation by God. Royal priesthood (majestic), holy nation, peculiar people (God's property). We should represent, walk, live as an ambassador for God. “Holiness” is what God has done for us, not a denomination. If God is in us, we are a part of the light. Jesus purchased us with the blood of the lamb. We are commanded to do a work for God. Our worth comes from God.
