On June 20 at 9 am, two weeks from today, RBC will be hosting a Filter Assembly Event with The Bucket Ministry.

We are all called to GO, though that can look different for each of us. Most of us cannot jump on a plane to Africa, but this is your opportunity to take part in global missions. Come join us to assemble life-saving water filters with The Bucket Ministry. These sawyer water filters will be sent to Kawangware, one of the largest slums in the world, located in Nairobi, Kenya.

Kawangware is also the community where our church team, leaving later in June, will be serving. This means you will have the opportunity to assemble the very filters that members of our church will personally distribute.
We will hear about the work of The Bucket Ministry and get hands on with serving.

Bring your family, your kids, friends, and let’s commit as a body to making a lasting difference in people’s lives around the world!

Just FIVE more days to register for the Abiding Through Generations Conference!

The word "abide" means to remain, stay, dwell, or continue in a fixed state of connection with Jesus Christ. To help us do that, we should keep His Word at the forefront of our mind all day long. Save one of these pictures and set it as your lock screen so it's the first thing you see every time you pick up your phone!

Go to ridgecrest.com/info to sign up or see one of our Women's Ministry Team members in the Upper Commons on Sunday mornings. Registration closes on Sunday, 4/19.

At Abiding Through Generations, the focus will be on how the Lord sustains his people through all ages and stages. You will hear from a variety of women in various walks of life and their testimonies of God’s goodness in it all. The conference will consist of three sessions. In the first, Tiffney and Hannah will work together to paint a picture of abiding in Christ during the busyness of young family life and building habits that will last into the stages beyond. Next there will be a panel of women ranging from young mom to seasoned grandmother. Some have one child, some have eight. Some began following Christ at a young age, and some not until adulthood. They will answer a series of questions about what it has meant to abide for them and how it may have shifted over the years. Finally, Denyse will round out our last session by utilizing her years of experience and wisdom to once again, point back to the Lord’s continual provision as we age and set our hearts on abiding in Him. There will also be music, fellowship, and food, so register now to reserve your spot!

"I do see ground for hope when Christ is bound, for he is bound for me; I do see reason for rejoicing when he dies, for he dies for me, and in my place and stead; I do see a theme for solid satisfaction in his burial, for he is buried for me; but when he comes out of the grave, having swallowed up death in victory, my hope bursts into joyous song. He lives, and because he lives I shall live also. He is delivered and I am delivered too. Death has no more dominion over him and no more dominion over me; his deliverance is mine, his freedom is mine for ever." - Charles Spurgeon

"Because we were dead, God had to breathe spiritual life into our hearts, which he willingly and graciously did.

And because we were rebels against God’s holy law, having sinned against him from birth, a price had to be paid for our forgiveness.

The price was the suffering and death of Jesus.

He, who was sinless, took the debt for our sin on himself. That debt load was, in the person of Jesus, nailed to the cross.

The record of all our sins—past, present and future—was cancelled, eternally erased from our account, in that moment on the cross.

This is our identity in Christ.
We stand before our Lord, spotless, as if we had never sinned."
- Paul Tripp
