We seek to be the church that God intended living out the new covenant by expressing the life of Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit within the church and community. We seek to be led by the Holy Spirit, know Christ, and to love God more every day. We edify the church, make disciples, equip believers, and preach the Gospel in our communities. Using the early church model, we meet and desire to have an authentic family relationship and community. One that eats, praises and worships God together, prays for each other, meets each other’s needs (Gal 6:2 “…Bear ye one another’s burdens”), and edifies fellow believers, having open discussions and learning from one another (1 Cor 14:26 “… Let all things be done unto edifying.”). Like the early church, we are led by elders (Tit 1:5 “..ordain elders in every city”) and believe in the principle of restoration of fellow believers. We believe in the apostle’s creed:
“I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son Our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into Hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; The Holy catholic Church [collective church throughout all time and places], the Communion of Saints; The Forgiveness of sins; The Resurrection of the body, and the Life everlasting.
