The road's insufficient width exacerbates the peril, with common issues such as cracking, rutting, loose edges, and poor drainage further diminishing its safety.

Rev. Pouncey has been pastored for over 20 years in this community. It's a hindrance to his ministry trying to serve this community. He has addressed this issue numerous of times but no answers. The community is standing together to get this issue resolved. Mr. Joey Peavy (District 1) is the Commissioner for Mt. Ida Road.
