The McNeills

The McNeills One of the most watched bands you've never heard of and Americana Worship like you've never seen! More at: McNeillMusic.TV/Introducing-The-McNeills

The McNeills love all different types of music and drawing people from the very young to the young at heart into a spirit of worship. At least that's their hope! Their musical styles and influences are as big as their family. From praise and worship, to bluegrass, to a Capella, to country gospel, to the great hymns of old, The McNeills truly have something that everyone can enjoy - bridging the ge

neration gaps with a unique style, variety of music and lineup. As a matter of fact, their style is so unique that they don't fit into the box of traditional music genres. And that's the way they like it! When they first got started singing, producers didn't know what to do with them because their music was so broad in spectrum. One producer said... the best I can do is call you Americana. Dad grew up in the church choir, moved to the praise team and then eventually led the contemporary service in a large church in the Dallas, Texas suburbs. Mom joined in those activities with him. As the kids grew older, they too formed a love of the different styles of music. Their twist on having a band that includes the keyboard, acoustic guitar, bass, cajon, fiddle, mandolin and banjo that can do a "hot off the press" contemporary song as easy as they can do a hymn, grabs the attention of the young and old. Their desire is not to entertain the people (although that happens), but to draw people of all ages into a heart of worship, to encourage and uplift the body of Christ, and share - through music - what the Lord has done in their lives. This is a group that you have to see to believe - one of the most watched groups that you have never heard of... Today, we remember Dolly Parton — not only for the incredible music she gave the world, but for the way she never forgot where she came from, the people she loved, or the God she trusted.

Dolly’s success could have taken her anywhere, but she continually poured back into the mountains and people of East Tennessee. She founded the Dollywood Foundation to help children in her home county succeed in school. Her Imagination Library grew from giving books to children in Sevier County to giving hundreds of millions of books to children around the world. After the devastating 2016 wildfires, her My People Fund provided millions of dollars in assistance to families who lost their homes. She also supported scholarships, healthcare, disaster relief, and countless efforts to make life better for the people around her.

Through it all, Dolly was never ashamed of her faith. She has spoken openly about God, prayer, and the Christian foundation she was raised with. Her faith and her love for people have been woven throughout so much of what she has done.

Dollywood holds a very special place in the heart of The McNeill Project. We have been incredibly blessed by the opportunities we have had to perform there throughout our ministry. There is something special about being in a place that celebrates so many of the things we hold dear — faith, family, music, tradition, and using the gifts God has given us to bring joy to others.

Dolly has shown the world that extraordinary success doesn’t have to mean forgetting where you came from. She has continually invested back into her community, helped families in times of tremendous need, encouraged children to dream bigger, and openly acknowledged the God who has guided her life.

What a wonderful example of using the gifts God gives you to make a difference in the lives of others.

Thank you, Dolly, for the music, the generosity, the faith, and the incredible legacy you continue to build.

12 YEARS OF THE McNEILL PROJECT!

Twelve years ago, we could never have foreseen what the future would hold.

In fact, if you had told us then what the next twelve years would look like, we probably wouldn’t have believed you.

Twelve years ago, we had never sung in front of people.

We couldn’t play instruments.

We couldn’t sing harmony.

We weren’t a band. We certainly weren’t professional musicians. We were simply a family who loved listening to music, loved the Lord, and somehow took that first step without having any idea where it would lead.

And what a journey it has been.

God took that very unlikely beginning and turned it into something we could have never planned for ourselves.

Over the past twelve years, The McNeill Project has traveled thousands upon thousands of miles, ministering in churches, revivals, camps, concerts and special events all across the nation.

We’ve gotten to sing at Dollywood.

We’ve stood on the stage at the Ark Encounter as headliners , including the incredible opportunity to be there with Dr. David Jeremiah.

We’ve been part of Singing in the Sun in Myrtle Beach.

We’ve sung on tiny stages in little country churches and on stages we never dreamed we would stand on.

We learned to play instruments.

We learned to sing harmony.

We learned how to walk onto a stage and share our hearts with a room full of people.

We’ve sung praise and worship, bluegrass, country gospel, a ca****la, old hymns and original songs God gave our family.

And somewhere along the way, that family who had never performed in front of anyone became The McNeill Project.

We’ve laughed until we cried.

We’ve probably cried until we laughed a few times, too. 😂

We’ve loaded and unloaded more equipment than we could ever count, driven more miles than we care to calculate, eaten countless meals in a bus, gotten ready for concerts in some interesting places, navigated breakdowns and changed plans, and learned that life on the road rarely goes exactly as planned.

But through it all, we got to do it together.

And when we look back, that may be one of the greatest gifts of all.

There have been awards, recognition and incredible opportunities along the way, and we are grateful for every single one of them.

But twelve years later, those aren’t the things we treasure most.

It’s the people.

It’s the pastor who trusted a family he barely knew.

The church that fed our whole crew after a concert.

The person who waited afterward to quietly say, “I needed that song tonight.”

The child sitting on the front row.

The elderly saint singing every word of an old hymn.

The conversations after the concert.

The prayers.

The testimonies.

The friendships.

The people who started as strangers and somehow became family.

Those are the moments that made these twelve years what they have been.

And perhaps one of the most amazing things about looking back is realizing that we had absolutely no idea what God was preparing us for.

Twelve years ago, we couldn’t have told you where this road would lead.

We couldn’t have imagined the places we would go.

We couldn’t have imagined the stages we would stand on.

We couldn’t have imagined the people we would meet.

We couldn’t have imagined the songs we would sing.

We couldn’t even sing harmony! 😂

And yet, here we are.

Twelve years later, we are still doing what we set out to do:

Sharing the hope of Jesus through music.

We don’t know what the next twelve years will hold any more than we knew what these twelve would hold.

But we know the One who does.

To every church that has opened its doors to our crazy crew…

To every promoter who took a chance on us…

To every radio station that played our music…

To every person who bought a CD or T-shirt, put something in a love offering, shared a post, requested a song, prayed for us, fed us, housed us, encouraged us, or drove miles just to sit in the audience…

THANK YOU.

You are part of our story.

And to our family—what an adventure this has been.

Twelve years ago:
No stage experience.
No instruments.
No harmony.
No idea what was ahead.

Twelve years later:
Countless miles.
Thousands of songs.
Incredible friendships.
Memories we could never replace.
One family.
And one Savior who has been at the center of it all.

Happy 12th Anniversary to The McNeill Project!

We could never have foreseen what the future would hold twelve years ago.

And maybe that’s what makes us so excited to see what God has in store for the next twelve.

To God be the glory.
