Great news for those needing vision and dental care!

We’re proud to serve our community alongside Remote Area Medical (RAM) at the FREE Medical, Vision, and Dental Clinic on February 14–15, 2026 at the USC School of Medicine in Greenville.

🦷 Precision Dental will be providing FREE dental services, including:
• Cleanings
• Fillings
• Extractions

What to bring:
• Food and water
• Any medications you take
• Patience — services are first-come, first-served

What to wear:
• Warm, comfortable clothing (especially if arriving early)
• Comfortable shoes

✔️ No insurance required
✔️ No ID required
⚠️ Dental and vision services are limited and fill quickly—arrive early.

Beloved Saint Matthew Family,

Due to continued winter weather and out of concern for the safety of our congregation, all church activities and worship services are canceled for Saturday and Sunday, January 31, and February 1, 2026. This marks the second weekend we have been physically apart because of the weather. While we deeply miss gathering in the sanctuary, we are reminded that the church is not confined to a building.

Though snow may keep us physically separated, it cannot interrupt our fellowship, our faith, or God’s abiding presence among us. We encourage you to take time to pray, read scripture, and worship from wherever you are, knowing that we remain united in spirit and love.

Please continue to stay safe, warm, and mindful of one another. We look forward with hope to worshiping together again very soon.

Due to the impending inclement weather forecasted for our area, all worship services and church activities at Saint Matthew United Methodist Church–Taylors are cancelled for Saturday and Sunday, January 24-25, 2026. This decision has been made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of our congregation and community.

We encourage everyone to remain safe, stay warm, and take all necessary precautions during this time. Please continue to keep one another in prayer.

We are deeply grateful for the love and Christ-like compassion you have shown the Grayson-Boozer children during this Thanksgiving season. Your prayers, support, and generosity have been a powerful reminder of God’s faithfulness and the strength of our church community.

We are continuing our outreach effort to support the Grayson children, who many of you will remember lost their mother in August. The children are currently living with a close family friend, and we want to ensure they have the food and resources they need during this difficult transition.

Please remember to bring non-perishable food items to church Sunday, November 23, 2025. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in their daily lives.

Today, we give thanks to the brave men and women who have served our country with honor, courage, and sacrifice. Your service reminds us of the greatest expression of love — to lay down one’s life for others (John 15:13).

At St. Matthew United Methodist Church, we lift our veterans and their families in prayer, asking God to bless them with peace, strength, and grace. May we never take for granted the freedoms they have helped protect.

Our amazing Saint Matthew UMC Youth spent the day at South Carolina State University for Youth Day 2025, a day filled with faith, fellowship, and Bulldog pride! From inspiring messages to the excitement of the game and campus spirit, our youth experienced what it means to celebrate faith and education together.

A huge thank you to our youth leaders, parents, and church family for your support and encouragement. We’re proud of our young people for representing Saint Matthew UMC with joy, energy, and purpose!
