How can you be praying for Ascend Camps this summer? ⬇️

1) Pray that campers will have the courage to share their stories and feelings in healthy ways.

2) Pray that each camper will clearly understand God's love for them and their worth in his eyes.

3) Pray for open hearts as they learn biblical truths and discover how God walks with them through life's challenges.

4) Pray for wisdom as leaders guide conversations and navigate sensitive situations.

5) Pray for physical energy, emotional strength, and spiritual encouragement for every volunteer and staff member.

The first Ascend Camp begins next week! This weeklong program helps kids and teens navigate hard seasons that can deeply shape a child's world. Throughout the week, campers connect with others who share similar experiences, build friendships, and discover what God says about their circumstances, identity, and belonging.

Participants sing, hear teaching, and then break into small groups to discuss what they learned and apply it to their lives.

Wisdom calls to us. It invites us to listen, seek understanding, and search for truth as hidden riches. Scripture shows that those who walk in wisdom find clarity in confusion, steadiness in uncertainty, and security in the fear of the Lord. Wisdom shapes our lives and leads us along steady paths that aren't shaken by circumstances. Though spoken long ago, the ancient wisdom of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and the Psalms still calls to us today. How will we answer?

Say hello to our Camp Staff! 👋 These interns are wrapping up training and getting ready to head to the Lowcountry of South Carolina next week. They’ll be helping lead camp programming and service projects that create space for children and students to know Christ, grow in God’s Word, and become leaders in their areas of influence!

Hey, Church! Please join us in praying for our mission team from the Anderson campus who are in Inverness, Scotland, serving alongside our partner church, Merkinch Free Church.

Their primary goal while there is to do life together with the body of believers in Merkinch, and to encourage and foster relationships, with the hope of building long-term partnerships for the proclamation of the gospel in Scotland. They’ll also be helping host a community fun day—creating space to serve and connect with neighbors.

Pray for safe travels, fruitful conversations, and for the relationships formed this week to continue to grow and bear fruit as we partner together to make Jesus known in Scotland.
