Here’s a shout out to one of our wonderful volunteers, Molly Evans! Every month she puts up posters, memory verse motion cards, nursery notes, and baby blessings in all of our nursery and preschool rooms to go along with the new monthly theme! We are so thankful for her and we love having her on our team!

This Sunday FG Kids will have programming for nursery-k4. There will be no programming for Elementary (K5-5th) and Middle school. There will be worship notes available for the kids as they enter into the main services and there will be take home packets (1 per family) as you exit.

Cuddle with your child and pray, “Dear God, thank You for [child’s name]. I pray he/she will grow up believing in Your promises. I don’t want him/her to ever doubt Your love. You are so, so good to us. We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

As you drive, ask your child, “Who does God love?” Encourage him/her to name someone different each time you ask. Talk about how much God loves everyone.

Over time, parents become convinced their primary job is protection—so we make rules, set limits, and put up fences because that is what we are supposed to do. We are parents. We will insulate, isolate, and segregate our kids from everything we think might be a threat. It is easy for us to become more concerned about their safety than we do their faith.
