I CAN DO NOTHING. John 15:5

Leaving things behind is not accomplished by willpower alone. Jesus said, “Without Me ye can do nothing.” We need the Holy Spirit to empower us, strengthen us, and help us walk away for real. As you pray, stay in the Word, and remain connected to Christ, He will give you the grace to stop looking back and the strength to keep moving forward.

You do not have to move forward alone—God will help you do it.

Paul kept pressing because he understood that maturity, growth, and purpose were still ahead. There is more anointing ahead. More depth in prayer ahead. More strength in God ahead. More purpose ahead. More destiny ahead. You are not at your final place yet, so don’t get stuck in yesterday. There is something better in front of you.

When you have truly made up your mind to move forward, you learn that access is not automatic. What God brought you out of may try to contact you—but you do not have to respond.

Lot’s wife is a warning to every believer who keeps turning toward what God already delivered them from. Looking back can cost more than you think. Sometimes God opens a door, makes a way of escape, and says move now. Delayed obedience, hesitation, and backward glances can cause you to miss the moment God prepared for your breakthrough.

Biblical forgetting is not always accidental—it is intentional. Paul said, “forgetting those things which are behind.” That means making a decision not to continue feeding what God is calling you to starve. Some things must be purposely overlooked, purposely cut off, and purposely removed from your thought life so you can move into what God has next.

That means:
No matter how great the storm was…Jesus released something greater.
🔥 Greater peace
🔥 Greater authority
🔥 Greater power

When Jesus speaks, chaos doesn’t linger— it settles.

Your voice is not powerless.
Your words are not empty.
When your words align with God’s Word…they carry spiritual authority.

Because heaven responds to agreement.
