Thank you to Sam Nixon and our EYC for hosting our annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper. We gathered to burn the palms from last Palm Sunday that will be used in tomorrow night's Ash Wednesday service and to enjoy pancakes together. The children and youth enjoyed the Pancake Olympics closing with the Pancake a Priest (and a Minister of Youth) event. Here are a few of the photos from the evening. Merry Christmas from the children of St. James! The church was packed for the annual St. James Christmas Pageant this afternoon. Thank you to our Children's Minister, Jan Rhodes, and to all who organized and worked with the children. Here are a few photos from the service.

We will continue our Christmas Services with a service at 11:00pm tonight (with Christmas Music beginning at 10:30pm) and a service at 10:00am on Christmas Day.

Congratulations to the Rev'd Hope Elise Anderson, the newest priest in the Episcopal Church. The Rt. Rev'd Daniel Paul Richards, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina presided over the service at St. James tonight. We are thrilled have Mother Hope as a part of our family!
