“Jesus took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to distribute to the multitude.” (Luke 9:16)

The disciples had looked at the crowd and saw a need, a lack of resources, a deficit. They saw what they didn't have and what they could not supply. But they brought to Jesus what they had, five loaves and two fish. And Jesus took their "not enough" and gave thanks for it, broke it, and gave it back to them.

Jesus did not multiply the bread as he gave thanks or when it was in the basket. Nor did the miracle happen while the disciples held onto the food or hoarded it for themselves. The multiplication happened dynamically, in their hands, as an act of submission and faith as they proceeded to feed the crowd.
They all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them.

Many keep waiting for the "abundance" before they start serving and reaching out.
In the Kingdom, multiplication occurs through movement. Stop waiting for a full basket before you start giving out. Give God your "not enough," and then start reaching out and watch God's multiplication take over.

Don't underestimate God's power when facing overwhelming situations. God's kingdom is never in recession; it's recession-proof.
The economy of God is based on God's character and is governed by spiritual multiplication rather than the world's unlimited resources. This provides a persistent, abundant supply unaffected by human economic downturns.

The principles of God's Kingdom focus on faithful stewardship, giving, and seeking spiritual first principles. Instead of relying on worldly markets and materials, the focus remains on the assurance of God's provision.

Jesus didn’t come to tweak our thinking—He came to replace our old mindset with a whole new reality...And that reality is the Kingdom. Jesus didn’t just preach sermons. He preached and showed us the Kingdom of Heaven. He shifted our focus from self-centered living to heaven-centered purpose, one that shifts our loyalty from this world to the next!

The feeding of the five thousand wasn't about the five loaves and two fish. It was centered on building a Kingdom Perspective through faith!

Shifting your perspective to the Kingdom perspective and learning to see life, problems, and purpose through the lens of the Kingdom of God will be powerful and life-changing!

“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." (2 Corinthians 3:17)

Paul stressed the value of the Spirit in believers, which assures their salvation, empowers them to serve, and produces moral changes in their daily lives.
Biblical liberty differs significantly from the world's concept of freedom. Our liberty as believers is not the worldly freedom to do whatever we want. When the Spirit of the Lord is present, we can let go of our flesh and selfish desires to obey God, please Him, and bring glory to His name.

William Seymour, the leader of the historic 1906 Azusa Street Revival, prophesied before he died in 1922 that, within 100 years, God would pour out the Holy Spirit in a move that would far eclipse the Azusa outpouring in power, scope, and global reach. Believers interpret the "100-year" timeline as spanning 2000 to 2026, sparking ongoing prayer movements and expectations of a massive, worldwide spiritual awakening.

Seymour declared that the latter outpouring would feature a tremendous return of the Shekinah Glory. He stated it would not be localized to a single city, a single group, or a single church but would sweep across all nations.
Like the Azusa Street Revival, he emphasized that this move would be born out of deep humility, repentance, and persistent prayer rather than through prominent names or programs.

The Holy Spirit hasn't come to impress us, but to correct us. Not to
make us feel chosen, but to convict us enough to change.
The Holy Spirit isn’t flashy.
He's our Joy that survives bad news.
He's our companion when we have no one.
He's our peace that bites its tongue.
He's our internal assurance when there's no audience.
He's our goodness when nobody is watching.
He's our steadfastness when quitting would be easier.
He's our gentleness, which doesn’t mean weak.
He's our restraint that shuts doors before sin finishes knocking.
He's our wisdom in times of uncertainty.
He's our understanding when nothing makes sense.
He's our council when no one has answers.
He's our strength when hopelessness is all around.
He's our prayer partner when we don’t know how to pray.
He's our power to become a witness for Christ.

It’s time to stop living in bo***ge to your finances, your fear, your health diagnosis, your job, your past, or your sin. No matter what may be holding you in a binding situation, God wants you to hold onto who you are in Christ and live in freedom through the power of the Holy Spirit.
We must live our lives soaked in the power of the Holy Spirit, not to impress but to be transformed.

Paul said, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power… ” (1 Corinthians 2:4)

It is impossible to read the book of Acts without seeing the evidence of the Holy Spirit's power working through the first-century churches, not just in the miraculous sign gifts but also in the daily witness of the churches.

The last days' promise in Acts 2 is not about expansion, but about an outpouring. It's not about attendance but awakening. It's not about influence but infilling.

What evidence do we see in the early church of the power and work of the Holy Spirit?

Fervent prayer
In the early church, prayer was a central characteristic. Their witness, faithfulness, and growth depended on prayer, which was their source of power, comfort, courage, and hope. Power is absent from a church that lacks frequent times of fervent prayer. The followers of Jesus continued with one accord in prayer and supplication… (Acts 1:14)

Fear of the Lord
Worship is not about bringing God down to our level, but about worshiping Him for who He is. When we have a sense of awe and godly fear in the presence of God, we carry that awareness throughout our lives as we live in obedience to Him.
“The Apostles continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul… “ (Acts 2:42–43)

A Desire for the Holy Spirit’s Fullness.
Without yielding to the Holy Spirit and seeking His power, even if our lives are free from worldly influences, they will remain empty and shallow. To move from self-reliance to God-reliance in every aspect of our lives, we must desire the power of the Holy Spirit. They gathered together in the upper room in Acts 2:1, in one accord, and for one purpose.

And Fervent preaching
The current need is for biblical preaching that focuses on Christ and boldly proclaims God's truths. If we don't have fiery pulpits and altars, then we won't have fire in the pews.
What's the point of having pulpits if there's no power? We must have pulpits that are on fire with the Holy Ghost, not eloquent or famous pulpits. A lot of preachers preach about Pentecost, but not in the power of Pentecost.
When the people saw the boldness of Peter and John, they marveled, and they took knowledge of them that they had been with Jesus. (Acts 4:13)

If we ever needed the Holy Spirit, we need Him today!

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh…” (Acts 2:17)

The Holy Spirit's outpouring at Pentecost marked the start of a new chapter in history. We are living in this chapter, and a remarkable change is happening in world history.

The last days will be marked by both spiritual awakening and growing resistance to the truth. As the gospel spreads, so will opposition, deception, and moral decline (2 Timothy 3:1–5). Yet, in the midst of these challenges, God promises an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all flesh, and that promise remains firm.

Acts 2:17 reveals that the last days are characterized by the widespread presence of the Holy Spirit, empowering believers to speak God’s truth and live out their faith. During this period, there is both a great opportunity and a spiritual urgency. As followers of Christ, we are called to stay faithful, be filled with the Spirit (Ephesians 5:18), and remain rooted in God’s Word. Until the day Jesus returns, we are to proclaim the gospel with boldness and hope (Matthew 24:14; 2 Peter 3:9).

GOD IS SPEAKING TO US TODAY -
"It is time to make room for more”.
God is ready to pour new blessings, new opportunities, and new growth into your life, but you must be willing to release what no longer serves His purpose for you.
Let go of old mindsets, past hurts, old pain, old habits, old disappointments, and anything that keeps you in a season that God has already called you out of, anything that is taking up space meant for what He is pouring out. God cannot fill what you are unwilling to open.

Do you trust God enough to clear the space, even when it feels uncomfortable. What He has for you requires a greater capacity, a stronger faith, and a willing heart.
Do not hold on to what He is asking you to release. Make room, because what is coming will exceed what you have known before.

God’s goal for the Holy Spirit in our lives is not maintenance, but abundance.
