Hey Gardeners... the bees are loving the lavender and Denise's pollinator plantings. The garden looks GREAT..

Many thanks to Kathy, Mark and Ben for taking over responsibility for the FCC beds during my absence this summer.

Let it Bee ,Let it Bee... Thanks to Laura Getty the garden now has a Bee House We will be welcoming the pollinators

Also on HOG (Hands On Greenville) Day (May 4) we will be planting Monarch Butterfly Rescue mix seeds in the new flower garden designed by Tom Turner.

The Garden is Blessed. We had a nice blessing this morning in the garden so we're ready to go !! Also Pie Day was a great success. Thanks to all.

Next Saturday is our official Planting Day so come out and plant, prune, rake, whatever floats your boat.

It's Pie Day Minus 3 !! Hey everybody... Sunday at noon we will have a blessing of the Community Garden followed by a tasting of a bunch of pies, veggies dishes etc in the garden. (Live Music !!) What a way to welcome Spring !!

Big Happenings in the Garden. You probably did celebrate "Pi Day" (Pi.. the mathematical symbol whose value is 3.1416.. and it already happened on March 14.. If you missed it.. You Have Another Opportunity !!

Pie Day is Sunday April 7 when at noon,following the Blessing of the Garden... (maybe some live music !!) we will have an outdoor (hopefully) smorgasbord of home-made PIES.
We will sample the offerings of our bakers in the congregation from savory (think "Quiche Lorraine"et al) to Rhubarb Pie (does that still exist?) Also consider contributing vegan dishes and salads...
Make it a success by breaking out the All Purpose flour and your recipes and get baking !!
