Faith was never meant to be something we perform to earn God’s approval, nor something we keep on the sidelines while we wait for Him to move.

The Christian life is neither performance nor paralysis.

It’s faith expressed in action.

Sometimes that faith looks bold. Sometimes it looks like quiet obedience. Sometimes it’s taking a step when the outcome is uncertain. But genuine faith doesn’t stay stagnant, it trusts God enough to move.

Not to earn His love, but because we’ve already received it.

Grace doesn’t eliminate obedience, it changes the motivation behind it.

So many of us live exhausted, constantly wondering if we’ve done enough. Good enough. Faithful enough. Spiritual enough.

But the gospel isn’t an invitation to strive harder. It’s an invitation to rest in what Christ has already accomplished.

When Jesus said, “It is finished,” He meant it. His work was complete. His righteousness was sufficient. His grace was enough.

The freedom found in Christ isn’t freedom to live however we want, it’s freedom from the burden of trying to earn what has already been freely given.

And from that place of security, acceptance, and grace, our lives begin to change. Not because we’re trying to gain God’s approval, but because we’ve already received it.
