Jesus spoke in parables because the religious people could not receive what he had to say. The Lord gave me the burden to spread the message of the Gospel through song. For the same reason Jesus did you can reach a lot more people to a song then just by telling people individually about God's love. Honestly God is not impressed with man's religion. He tells us to follow two Commandments to love him with all of our heart soul and mind. Also to love our neighbor as ourselves. The contemporary Christian group Casting Crowns released a song called Until the Whole World Hears. Believers and unbelievers need to know that God is not what man says he is God is who he says he is.
