The Bible Hour began as a YouTube broadcast in 2011 that exists to glorify God by winning and leading all the people within our reach to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Our ministry is dedicated to the promotion of the King James Bible as the inspired words of the living God for the English speaking peoples of the world and the importance of rightly dividing the word of truth. Each

broadcast is a verse by verse Bible study or exegetical sermon with the goal of edifying the saints, evangelizing sinners, and most importantly, exalting the Lord Jesus Christ. The host, John David Howe, is a pastor, Bible teacher, and street preacher. Dr. Howe holds a Bachelor of Divinity (1999) from Mountaineer Baptist College in Salem, WV and a Master of Theology (2003) and Doctor of Theology (2005) from Slidell Baptist Seminary in Slidell, LA. Beginning on August 1, 2021 the Bible Hour transitioned from an exclusively online ministry to Truth Baptist Church, a new local church plant in Suffolk, Virginia.
