We all know John 3:16 but we need to always go on to verse 17. John 3:16-17 NIV
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.We don't often go to these verses during Advent. We lean into the account of Christ's birth and people love the nativity story. But this is the bigger story, the biggest story, the true Christmas story. Yes, God sent His only Son to us as we celebrate His birth on Christmas, but this same Son, baby, grew to be the Son, man, on the cross that died for our eternal life, forgiveness of all sins. And this baby, this man, the Son was not sent to condemn us but to love us enough, to love us unconditionally, to be saved by Him. A gift, a true gift. The question is do we receive, do we accept His gift?

James 5:16 "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
ARE YOU feeling the sense of URGENCY to pray intercessory prayers for the people in the USA, Israel, Ukraine, and all throughout God's Kingdom? The URGENCY to pray for healing for the families and friends of the three teens who tragically lost their lives in a fiery car accident in the Lakeview School district, for the first responders, and for all people in the County to draw nearer to the Lord in this time? Do you sense the URGENCY to gather as the Body of Christ to pray for people to know the Lord and build their relationship with Him, never turning away from that relationship, but only to grow deeper in it at this time all the more we see the day approaching? Do you see the URGENCY to THANK and PRAISE THE LORD for not giving up on us and to say in unity, "We extol you Lord, as our God the King and we will praise your name for ever and ever. Great are you Lord and most worthy of praise; your greatness no one can fathom." (Psalms 145:1-3 )

James 5:16 is true in teaching, “the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” Prayer generates tremendous power and produces uncommon results. C. Spurgeon said, “Prayer moves the arm that moves the world.”
In Mercer County since 2014 to present, there have been 373 overdose deaths (30 and 8 pending results for 2023). A lot of children motherless or fatherless. 14 suicides in 2023 as of Sept 26th.
Only God can do the impossible. Gather with us seeking God's movement Saturday, Sept. 30th, 2023 at 8:30 AM as the Body of Christ to pray at Living Word Christian Center S. Maysville Rd.. Greenville PA.
