Thank you for your prayer on behalf of Pastor Julius in Cameroon.
His missionary friend writhe the following this evening.

Pastor Julius has been released unharmed and he is now with his family! Please join us in giving much glory to our Lord Jesus Christ!

He was kidnapped by 4 young armed Muslim Fulani men on Sunday evening. They tied him up with ropes and demanded a payment of about $10,000, threatening to kill him if the amount was not paid right away. Negotiations were made by a faithful deacon, and a ransom of about $2,500 was paid.

The Lord gave Pastor Julius the opportunity to thoroughly witness the gospel to those Muslim boys. They listened carefully. We need to pray for them. Julius spent much of his time in prayer, singing hymns, and reciting Scripture from memory, just as I trust each of us would do in those trying circumstances. He told me that while he has been redeemed forever by the blood of Jesus Christ, there are situations in life when silver and gold are also necessary.
