Thank you to all who brought items in for our baby shower for Piedmont Women’s Center. These items will be put into baby gift baskets for each new mom. Women on Mission really enjoyed hearing from Raven about many of the great things they are doing to support women and families who choose life for their babies right here in Greenville. Piedmont Women’s Center does SO much more than pregnancy tests-here are just a few of the things we learned from the community relations rep who spoke at our meeting.

Piedmont Women’s Center has been open since 1991.
They see over 3,000 women per year.
They spend a whole hour with their clients at their 1st appointment to really understand their needs and see how PWC can best help.
They help those being s*x trafficked, share Jesus with each client, and partner with churches to get those who put their faith in Christ to a community of believers near them so they can grow and be discipled.
Piedmont Women’s Center offers parenting classes on many topics and gives them a gift for their baby like a pack n play or car seat when they attend 10 classes.
PWC partners with over 300 other non-profits to help and support the moms/families they work with, including Christian adoption agencies.
They also work with DCFS to do parenting classes with the goal of re-unifying families.
PWC also offer grief support for those who have had pregnancy loss or previous abortions
PWC has 26 on staff plus volunteers. They are completely donor funded and grant supported. They receive NO government funding. Part of the ERBC missions budget does help support PWC’s work each year.

Party With a Purpose is happening again this year! It’s a PARTY because we eat, fellowship, and have fun at the different stations. The PURPOSE is to come alongside women who are experiencing difficulties in their lives and say, “You are loved, you have value.” This is an annual outreach in which we host the ladies from The Renewal Program, a Miracle Hill ministry. Consider how you might be involved as we host these 24 ladies. PLEASE PRAY that we will be the hands of Jesus that night.
We need lots of volunteers! There are many opportunities for you to help. Look for signup sheets in the hallway for these committees: Hostesses, Bibles, Food, Beverage table, and Accessories.
We will again be collecting pocketbooks, scarves and jewelry. Please bring clean, like new items. Jewelry should be stylish. Look for barrels near the office and by the nursery entrance in January. We would like to collect all donations by Sunday Feb 25.
Thank you ERBC, once again as we stretch our comfort zone in our local community. Many, many thanks to those who have already volunteered. Please contact Libby Riddle by email at [email protected] with questions or suggestions.
Matthew 25:40-“ The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’”

An encouraging word I read today about all that's going on in our world and something I can do no matter where I am or what I need to take care of in my little corner of the world-PRAY! Hopefully it will encourage you if you are like many and overwhelmed/discouraged by the events in the news.

Building up your home is not some mere mundane task. It’s a powerful way to offer something vital to your family and guests. Yesterday, while Russia was invading Ukraine and gas prices were soaring and 11 people were in our hospital with the virus, I mopped the kitchen floor. I mopped the kitchen ...
