VBC Flood Student Ministries FLOOD is the youth ministry at Vansickle Baptist Church just south of Greenville, Texas and geared toward 7th-12th grade students. WHAT IS FLOOD?

It's the name for our student ministries at Vansickle Baptist Church. It may sound strange at first, but it's greatly significant to everything we do. It's based out of John 4... it's the story about this woman who meets Jesus. He says to her: "Anyone who drinks of this well-water will get thirsty again, but anyone who drinks of the water I have to offer will never thirst again. That water will be

come in him a well springing up to eternal life." In reality, FLOOD is our prayer for students, leaders, and families in our youth group: that they would be FLOODed by God's love for them, and then seek to FLOOD those around them with that same love. It makes things simple to remember. If we ever forget why it is that we're here... we just remember FLOOD. Flooded by the Love of God... Flooding others with that Love. Everything we do is about those two things; whether it's superbowl parties and youth trips to six flags, or youth summer camp and disciple now weekends. It's all about experiencing and knowing (more) God's love for us.

The votes are officially in — and these are the Top 5 Theme Days heading to camp week! 👀🔥

• MONOCHROME NIGHT: Pick ONE color and build your whole outfit around it — head to toe. Go bold, go clean, go all in.

• COUNTRY / RODEO NIGHT: Cowboy hats, boots, flannel, camo, denim, southern vibes, hunting/fishing gear, and western style welcome.

• ANIMAL KINGDOM NIGHT: Animals, animal print (cheetah print, zebra stripes, etc), safari explorers, famous animal characters, or wild-animal inspired outfits.

• DYNAMIC DUOS & GROUP COSTUMES: Grab your friends and show up as iconic duos, trios, teams, or groups. Funny, creative, coordinated, chaotic — all fair game.

• FANTASY & FICTION NIGHT: Step into worlds of imagination with heroes, villains, magical creatures, enchanted realms, epic adventures, space travelers, sci-fi explorers, and characters inspired by your favorite fictional universes.

We’re still smiling as we look back through these pictures from Sunday’s Dinner & Dessert Auction. So much laughter, so much serving, and so much generosity filled the room.

Because of your support, students will have opportunities in the coming year to go to camp, serve on mission trips, grow in their faith, and be part of moments that can shape their lives for years to come.

But these photos also capture something else we never want to take for granted—a church family that shows up for students.

Thank you for giving. Thank you for serving. Thank you for cheering our students on. Thank you for believing that the next generation matters.

We are blessed to be part of a church that loves students so well.

We’re gearing up for our Dinner & Dessert Auction on Sunday, April 19th, and we need YOUR help to make it a success!

One of the highlights of the evening is our dessert auction—featuring some of the most delicious, homemade treats around. If you love to bake (or even just have a go-to favorite recipe), we’d love for you to contribute!
