VBC Flood Student Ministries FLOOD is the youth ministry at Vansickle Baptist Church just south of Greenville, Texas and geared toward 7th-12th grade students. WHAT IS FLOOD?

It's the name for our student ministries at Vansickle Baptist Church. It may sound strange at first, but it's greatly significant to everything we do. It's based out of John 4... it's the story about this woman who meets Jesus. He says to her: "Anyone who drinks of this well-water will get thirsty again, but anyone who drinks of the water I have to offer will never thirst again. That water will become in him a well springing up to eternal life." In reality, FLOOD is our prayer for students, leaders, and families in our youth group: that they would be FLOODed by God's love for them, and then seek to FLOOD those around them with that same love. It makes things simple to remember. If we ever forget why it is that we're here... we just remember FLOOD. Flooded by the Love of God... Flooding others with that Love. Everything we do is about those two things; whether it's superbowl parties and youth trips to six flags, or youth summer camp and disciple now weekends. It's all about experiencing and knowing (more) God's love for us.

So proud of our students from Quinlan Ford and Caddo Mills who woke up early and showed up bold this morning for See You at the Pole! 🔥🙏

Seeing you all circle up around the flagpole to lift up your campuses, classmates, teachers, and towns is what it’s all about. You don’t have to wait until you’re older to lead—you are part of the church right now.

Keep bringing that same light, love, and faith into the hallways every single day.

What did you do this Labor Day weekend?🚗🏖️

Part of ours included taking our students to Shenaniganz—and it was one for the books! 🎳🏎️🍕

Our students got to bowl, play games, race Quantum Go-Karts, tackle escape rooms, eat pizza, and, most importantly, spend the evening together.

There was plenty of competition, a whole lot of laughter, and some great memories made along the way. We’re so thankful for opportunities like this to get our students together outside of our normal programming!

Thanks to everyone who helped make the night possible—and to our students for making it so much fun!

This week, students across our ministry are heading back to school—and we want them to know that they’re not walking into a new year alone. Whether they’re starting high school, middle school, elementary school, or taking on another year of college, we’re praying for each of them!

We’re praying for confidence when things are new, wisdom when things are difficult, friendships that encourage them, teachers and coaches who invest in them, and opportunities to live out their faith.

To all our students: Have a GREAT first day and a GREAT first week of school! We’re excited to see what God does in and through you this year. 💚

Vansickle Baptist Church is praying for you! 🙏
