Missions is in our mission statement - “CFC exists to multiple disciples, leaders, and churches so that Jesus is known and worshipped from the Upstate to the ends of the earth.”

One of our own is back in Uganda for the second time this year doing just that. Some folks past 67 slow down. Some folks like Rodrick Wilton see a need and go to Uganda! Praise God for the work being done by the Spirit’s power …to the ends of the earth.

Each week, immediately following the 9:00am service, many of us gather downstairs in the Multi-Purpose room to share food, fellowship, and to flesh out the sermon with practical discussion questions, and prayer. It is truly an edifying time we are enjoying together!

I used to dread church business meetings as a kid. Sooo long and sooo boring - sitting forever while people drone on and on... 🫩

CFC Family Meetings are not those
business meetings!

They are more like hybrid family potluck + celebration of what God is doing in and through us - and a chance to cover all of it in prayer. Our next quarterly meeting is December 6!

Come see what CFC's part is in the work the Holy Spirit is already doing in the earth- to the glory of God.

The Acts of the Apostles is such a powerful proof of what the Holy Spirit can do through imperfect and ordinary people. 12 blue-collar types turned the world upside down! And the Holy Spirit is still doing that today. Come explore the book of Acts with us - and let’s just see what God can do - from the Upstate, to the ends of the earth.

This fall we will be doing a sermon series through the book of Acts titled “To the Ends of the Earth.”

Each week, immediately following the 9:00am service, many of us gather downstairs in the Multi-Purpose room to share food, fellowship, and to flesh out the sermon with practical discussion questions, and prayer. It is truly an edifying time we are enjoying together! Here are the questions from this past week for your consideration, and possibly to discuss with your families or small groups or a friend over coffee.

Attention college students! Beginning this week, August 23, there will be a 10:45am Conversations for college students in the Residency Room (down to the lower level past the offices and turn right at the end of the hall).

This Sunday, August 23, from 12pm-2pm, there will be a no-obligation Connections Class in the Multi Purpose Room (out the right hand door by the platform, then down the stairs and to the end of the hall past the offices) for anyone interested in what membership at CFC looks like and to get any and all questions answered about our church, our history, our mission, our philosophies, and our practice.

This is just the start of the dialogue, so come, get some lunch, hear about us and ask anything you like.

College age young people - we have just the class for you!

We already have "CFC Conversations" following the morning service, where many of us gather (with food!) for a time of fellowship, focused prayer, and diving deeper into the sermon with questions and applications along with Pastor Kerry.

This Sunday, August 23, we launch *College Conversations* where the same opportunity will be available just for college students!

At 10:45, following the 9:00 am worship service, college students will gather with Teddy Nagelvoort in the Residency Room (lower level by the offices) to connect and discuss the sermon and share life and a time of prayer together.

Come meet new friends, or reconnect with old ones as we flourish together under the Word.

PS: This is for college-aged people - no need to be enrolled in a school to participate!

Sunday, 8/16, we concluded the sermon series on the book of Ruth, which has been such a tremendous study for us. We are excited to begin in the book of Acts this next Sunday!.Also this coming Sunday begins College Conversations class for college students and Connections class over lunch for any interested in more information about CFC and church membership.
