St Francis Missionary Baptist Church Through genuine Christian fellowship, comprehensive Christian Education, continuous worship, and prayer service, St. St. Rev. Tony Brown Sr is the Pastor.

Francis Missionary Baptist Church will engage every member of its congregation in the spread of the gospel. Francis Missionary Baptist Church is located on County Road 79 on St. Francis Church Road, six miles outside of the Greenville city limits. Few written records of the church exist. The church was founded in the late eighteen hundreds. Planter’s merchandise donated the land to church for a te

n dollar trade. The church serves as a community school and was the first school that had a certified teacher. The Seventh Shape Singing Convention was established out of St. Francis Missionary Baptist Church in 1919. The convention was founded by the late George Herbert Nelson, who served as pastor at that time. Francis is now a full time church, with service being held every Sunday, Sunday School is held at 9:15 AM, morning worship held at 10:45 AM and 5th Sunday 8:00 AM service followed by fellowship breakfast.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved brother in Christ, Bro. Clinton Briggs.
Bro. Briggs was a faithful and devoted member of our church community for many years, and his presence will be profoundly missed.
We find comfort in the words of Revelation 21:4, "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Bro. Briggs.
