‼️Update April 28 ‼️ By Tuesday, April 29, SCDOT crews expect to complete a short bypass lane on the opposite side of the damaged road. The roadway is expected to reopen to traffic once the bypass is finished. This will allow traffic to temporarily move through the area until the permanent repair can be completed.

SCDOT encourages drivers to continue to plan in advance and use an alternate route if possible. Delays are expected in the area.

‼️ SCDOT Closes Garlington Road Near Woodruff Road for Emergency Road Repairs ‼️

A portion of one of the travel lanes collapsed and is unsafe. SCDOT says the repairs will be expedited. Drivers should plan alternate routes and expect delays.
