Shady Oak T3G1 Youth Ministry: An Afternoon of Fun, Faith, and Fishing!

​The Shady Oak T3G1 Youth Ministry enjoyed a spectacular afternoon of fun, fellowship, and outdoor adventure, beautifully hosted by the Johnson family at their home. It was a day filled with laughter, learning, and unforgettable memories for everyone in attendance.

​Hooked on Fishing!
​A massive highlight of the afternoon was the fishing lesson! A very special thank you goes out to Deacon Ronald Teamer and Brother Tyrone Patrick, who generously gave their time to take the youth out on the water. The youth truly "had a ball" learning the ropes, mastering how to cast their lines, and discovering the patience and joy of fishing.

​To top off the excitement, the group held a special drawing where one lucky boy and one lucky girl each took home their very own brand-new fishing rod to keep the adventure going!

​Food and Fellowship
​After working up an appetite by the water, the youth treated themselves to a delicious lunch. The fellowship was sweet, the food was great, and the energy was high all afternoon.

​With Heartfelt Gratitude
​An event like this takes a village, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who poured into our youth. Beyond our wonderful hosts and fishing guides, we extend a special thank you to Sister Valerie Parks for her incredible support in making this day such a resounding success.

​Thank you to everyone who contributed to building up our youth, teaching them new skills, and creating a safe, joyful space for them to grow together!
