Our Capital Campaign is in full swing. We have a generous donor who has issued a challenge of a $50,000 pledge match for the month of April. We have brought in since this challenge begun $11,000, so that is $22,000 more towards our goal of $700,000. In total we have raised $105,000 in pledges that is 1/7 of the way there. We need to raise $700,000 before our option to purchase the camp property from our landlord expires, or else Camp Greenwood will be sold on the open market. We are looking for 700 pledges of $1,000 each. Since March 13 we have received 19 pledges. Pledges must be received by Sept. 10. Funds must be received by Oct. 20. Don't Forget Saturday, March 27th, 9 am - 11 am, Pancake Breakfast at Camp Greenwood, With Camp Greenwood Made Maple syrup. Right from the trees that have been blessed with camper's laughter and love for 71 years.
Tour the camp and see how the process of making Maple Syrup happens from 10 am - 3 pm. Maple Syrup is available for Purchase - cash only.

Inside: Only 25 people at a time (Mask must be worn to the table, Social distancing)
Outside: Social distancing required (No Mask required)

Yesterday the Presbytery of Lake Michigan declined to grant us a one-year extension of our lease and the option to purchase the camp property that had been negotiated due to the pandemic. That means we need to raise $700,000 in six months. We are looking for 700 pledges of $1,000 each. Pledges must be received by September 10. Funds must be received by October 20. You can make as many pledges as you want (e.g. $3,000 = 3 pledges). Since yesterday we have received 5 pledges. We need your help NOW!

G.M. (Bud) Thompson is know at Camp Greenwood for composing the iconic “Gator Shuffle” in 1979. Mr. Thompson will travel to YOU, most places in Michigan, so you can hear this up-beat Greenwood history live and in-person!
