We are currently seeking a full-time Administrative Pastor. The primary responsibilities of this role will focus on administrative and operational leadership within a ministry context. The Administrative Pastor oversees church office operations, supervises and mentors administrative, financial, and custodial staff, and provides day‑to‑day leadership for financial processes including budgeting, cash flow oversight, financial reporting, and internal controls. The role collaborates closely with Personnel, Stewardship, Vision, and Buildings & Grounds Committees, offering pastoral partnership and support. Additional duties include managing vendor and professional service relationships (such as accounting, payroll, IT, insurance, and others), improving operational efficiency, ensuring regulatory and denominational compliance, and serving as lead administrator for major capital projects, including facility improvements and expansions.
In addition to administrative leadership, the Administrative Pastor contributes meaningfully to pastoral ministry and care. This includes maintaining a strong, unified relationship with the Senior Pastor and pastoral team; assisting with worship services, weddings, funerals, and special events; preaching or teaching as requested; providing pastoral counseling as appropriate; and actively supporting mission initiatives. The role also leads the College and Career Adult Ministry, fostering spiritual growth, building community, developing ministry and outreach opportunities for young adults, and helping them become engaged, committed members who contribute to the long‑term vitality of the church.
