🎣🐟 Get Ready for the 2nd Annual Fishing Derby! 🐟🎣

We're casting off again at Camp Old Indian on Saturday, September 6th, and you're invited to join the fun!

🌞 Cub Scouts will fish from 9:00–10:30 AM, with awards at 10:45 AM
🌙 Scouts BSA take the water from 6:00–7:30 PM, with awards at 7:45 PM

🏆 Prizes for:

Biggest Fish

Smallest Fish

Most Fish Caught

🎣 Don’t have a rod? No worries—we’ll provide one if needed!
💲 Cost: $12 per scout

Great job Troop 266, as well as our younger Scouts in Pack 527! A special thanks to the residents in Silverleaf who year after year give so much. Over 200 full bags of food, roughly 2500lbs, were collected in less than 3 hours headed back to our local Greer Relief & Resources Agency, Inc. for the community.

A little nature merit badge on a cold and wet Saturday, but had the park almost all to ourselves. Was able to check on one of our old Eagle Scout projects, and boys saw two others

Tons of work done at Camp Old Indian this weekend. Hauled and prepped hundreds of mattresses for refurbishment / replacement, new ditches / drains for water management, laid a bunch of sod in a new retention area, group hiked way up to the top of the camp to re-route a trail destroyed by tree uprooting, and cleaned up our campsite (scoutcraft) of most of the big debris.
